Flash comics are still incredibly in demand, although they came out in the second half of the last century. Comic book fans were puzzled by this choice, having a hard time imagining the puny Gustin insuch a cult incarnation, because in Glee he played an open gay, and in general his image did not fit in with the Flash.
In the second season of Arrow, when the audience first met Gustin's Mr. Allen, he was still looked at in disbelief. And what was their surprise when the actor himself fit into his role so organically, and The Flash as an independent TV show started so successfully that the channel had not had such a sensation since the premiere of The Vampire Diaries. The Flash, played by Grenade Gustin, ended up being so beloved by the audience that the appointment of Ezra Miller in the movie adaptation caused a whole storm of indignation.

Actor Carlos Valdes embodied on the screen the brilliant scientist Cisco Ramon, who later turned out to be also a metahuman, having received the code name Vibe. The character of Cisco is one of the central ones in the series, without his developments and ideas, the team would definitely not have coped with most of the enemies. In addition, Ramon is the main generator of humor in the show. Many of his jokes and interesting phrases are instantly picked up by fans and used in real life.
Speaking of The Flash actors, special attention should be paid to Tom Cavanagh. This versatile and undoubtedly brilliant master played three roles in the series: Eobard Thawne (Reverse Flash), Dr. Harrison Wells and Ha Er (Wells' counterpart from Earth19). Moreover, all three characters were so different that the performer can only give a standing ovation. Without Kavanagh, the series would definitely lose its zest.
The third "brain" of the team is Caitlin Snow, the embodiment of whose image fell on the fragile shoulders of Danielle Panabaker. She also got an unusual role, because since the third season, the meek and calm Miss Snow has been waging a fierce struggle with her second self - Killer Frost.

Flash's family is also an integral part of his life and his team. The most important love of Barry Allen was played by African-American Candice Patton. And although she looks even less canonical than the speedster himself (judging by the comics), the actress coped with the role of Iris West one hundred percent. The role of Detective Joe West, Iris's father and Barry's adoptive father, was also played by African-American Jesse L. Martin. He does a great job of combining the image of a good policeman and a wonderful father. Another member of the West family appeared only in the second season, but immediately firmly and organically fit into the show. Keinan Lonsdale did a brilliant job as Wally, who later became Kid Flash. The young man struggles to maintain a balance between youthful maximalism and love for the family.

Throughout the seasons, there were some colorful side characters who were nonetheless very important to the show. In the first season, they were Ronnie Raymond (the other half of Firestorm) and Detective Eddie Thawne, played by Robbie Amell and Rick Cosnett, respectively. Can't forget tooabout the most mind-blowing villainous duo of Captain Cold and Heat Wave, played by Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell. The first serial Flash - actor John Wesley Ship - got the role of Barry's father, Henry Allen, in the new film adaptation, and for the second time in his life put on the famous red suit with lightning, becoming the Flash from Earth 2 - Jay Garrick. In the third season, Tom Felton, the star of Harry Potter, also entered the main cast. His character is still a dark horse, fans are looking forward to a more detailed reveal of Julian Albert in the upcoming new season.
