The poet's childhood

The biography of Alexander Viktorovich Ilichevsky originates in the small town of Sumgayit, which at that time was a settlement of the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic. The author was born on November 25, 1970. Born on the coast of the Caspian Sea, he will mention its beauty more than once in his works. When Alexander was 4 years old, his parents took him to Moscow. Since childhood, the boy was very capable, quickly learned to count, and showed great interest in mathematics. His parents thought that he would grow up and become a great scientist. Well, they were only half right. Only now Ilichevsky realizes his potential and justifies his parents' hopes regarding his scientific career. He managed to establish himself as a successful poet, prose writer, and now, in his own words, he is making up for lost time and is trying to bring to our world not only the beauty of the style, but also the beauty of technical thought.

Alexander Vladimirovich Ilichevsky is happily engaged in a new job in the physics laboratory, which operates in the clinic of one of the universities in Israel. Costsnote that Ilichevsky is as close to receiving awards for his contribution to the study of physics as he often received awards for literary achievements in his time.

Private life of the "Russian hermit"

Ilichevsky prefers to carefully protect his personal life. Despite the generally recognized reputation of the famous Russian hermit, the man still started a family. The author of many literary works (Alexander Viktorovich Ilichevsky) has a wife and two beautiful children - a son and a daughter. By the way, the habit of living aloofly and away from the bohemian secular party has borne fruit. It is impossible to find a single photo of either the wife or the children of Ilichevsky on the network. He tries to keep them away from attention, the lenses of annoying paparazzi and the microphones of curious reporters. Perhaps this is not the worst decision. As Ilichevsky's close families say, his children are very obedient, have an excellent upbringing and did not have time to "catch a star." And all this thanks to his father's efforts and desire to give the younger generation the opportunity to live in peace.

Ilichevsky on writing

In his interview to one of the Russian publications, Alexander Viktorovich Ilichevsky said that he really misses one of his favorite genres - short stories. He says they no longer pay for them, because the stories are small in size. They pay now for the fact that it does not lose the dynamics of perception among readers for at least a few days. Because monetizationwriting profession and brought into it those who aspire to earn money and become a media person. These people are ready to write not at the call of their hearts, but at the behest of the masses. This is what became the main reason for Ilichevsky's departure from the literary platform.

Contribution to poetry

Alexander Ilichevsky has three collections of poems that he wrote in his youth. These are "The Case", written in 1996, "Non-Sight" - a creation dated 1999, and "Volga of Honey and Glass", created 5 years later. According to Alexander, this was not the last surge of inspiration for him, but the quality and quantity of poems written later are not comparable to those already existing. Therefore, the 2004 collection was the final one for the poet in terms of versification. Well, we hope the author will be able to return his muse and start creating again. After all, Ilichevsky is known for his unusual and penetrating style, vivid metaphors and strong influence on the minds of readers.

Prose writer burning with words

As mentioned above, Alexander Viktorovich Ilichevsky's favorite genre is stories. He wrote many such small works, which sometimes come under criticism and are called "one-day". Whatever they say, Ilichevsky's stories found their grateful audience. Among them are "Ring, sink, gap", "Case of the Crimean bridge", "April 12" and many others. In addition, Ilichevsky is consideredmaster of stories. Of course, a couple of them managed to fall under the criticism of Secrets, Pasechnik and Golubkova, but for the most part they always received extremely positive reviews. Otherwise, they simply would not have brought their author the number of awards that he currently owns.

Ilichevsky's works were published in various collections. It was highly appreciated and published by the editors of the magazines "New World", "Comments", on the Internet at the "Network Literature" forum. Many publications publishing literary essays often used Alexander's work to enlighten their readers and provide them with quality literature. The magazine "Comments" published Ilichevsky a record number of times (in comparison with the statistics on publications on the pages of this edition of works by other authors).

Most Influential Books

In the category "Lectures"On the Dozhd channel, Ilichevsky presented a number of books that left the deepest imprint on his life and creative activity. We start with children's literature, among which the author was influenced by the following works: Konstantin Sergienko "Kes", Yuri Olesha "Favorites", Jan Larry "The Extraordinary Adventures of Karik and Valya". This was followed by growing up, here the author's views were influenced by older books. Surprisingly, Alexander Viktorovich's favorite book is Turgenev's Notes of a Hunter. Ilichevsky said that there is some special charm in looking at the province and people through the "Notes of a Hunter". It is no wonder that such a talented and educated author could see the hidden meaning in a book, most of which consists of a description of nature. Alexander Viktorovich considers James Joyce's modernist novel "Ulysses" to be his second main book. This is not surprising, because the style in which Ilichevsky writes speaks of his erudition and incredible vocabulary. A person of a different mindset simply could not master such a work as Ulysses. We remind the reader that this book is considered out-of-genre and rather complex. In addition to these authors who influenced Ilichevsky, Babel, Dostoevsky and Nabokov are in his favor.

The TV channel "Rain" three times invited the author to its section "Lectures", and its presenter repeatedly called Ilichevsky one of the main writers of modern Russia (of course, in his subjective opinion).
