At work, engineer Golikov is in good standing, the team is sensitive, feminine. But his personal life is not going well. Everything changes with the arrival of a relative from the province - punchy reckless Gena. This homegrown don Juan knows the fail-safe method of getting to know the fairer sex. You need to approach the “instance” you like and ask the question “on the forehead”: “Whereis the nophelet located? While a passer-by, confused by an incomprehensible word, claps his eyes, you can start getting to know each other. Not everyone, of course, pecks at the bait, they can send them to hell, but most of the girls are sympathetic people and really want to help the sufferer by telling where the nofelet is, which they have never heard of. The casket opens simply: "nofelet" - "telephone", read backwards.

Good team

This lyrical comedy is in tune with "The most charming and attractive", a kind of "male version" of it. If in that film everything rested on Irina Muravyova and Tatyana Vasilyeva, then in this picture the actors also decide a lot. "Where is Nofelet" gathered a good team of performers. First of all, these are Alexander Pankratov-Cherny (Gen’s joker, along with the role in the film “We are from Jazz” - the artist’s “calling cards”) and Vladimir Menshov (Pavel), who attracts many moviegoers more as a director (“Love and Pigeons”, the already mentioned "Moscow …", "Raffle" - has long been a classic of Russian cinema). Screen veterans Lyudmila Shagalova, Nikolai Parfyonov echo the soloists, Irina Rozanova, Elena Safonova, who are not as famous as they are now, "lit up" in small roles.

Take courage

It is a pity that the days of such works as the movie "Where is the nofelet" have passed. People miss something good and simple, not burdened with special effects and scuffles. Numerous serials do not save the situation, these are one-daywhose creators do not burden themselves with either high-quality casting or a more or less logical coherent plot.

Returning to Pavel and his cousin. Having transformed the appearance of a bachelor and having tried to arrange his personal life, having slightly “poofed” along the streets of the capital, Gena suddenly slammed down from heaven to earth. Tired of waiting for her husband to return from a protracted family visit (actually, the purpose of the trip was quite legal: to get scarce furniture), Don Juan's wife appeared, a sharp and authoritarian lady. It turns out that he once hooked her on the hook, asking: “Where is the nofelet?”. From the dude at once, all the gloss flew off. But Pasha finally plucked up the courage to talk to a stranger who travels the same route with him every day. The moral expressed by director Gerald Bezhanov and screenwriter Anatoly Eyramdzhan also turned out to be similar to the message of “Charming and Attractive”: happiness is nearby, you just need to be able to notice it and have time to catch it … It is already much more difficult to keep it.
