Stas Namin: biography, family
The future musician was born on November 8, 1951 in Moscow. Anastas Mikoyan is the real name of our hero. He has Armenian roots.
Father Stas was a military pilot, he took part in the Great Patriotic War. And his mother, Nami Arutyunova, graduated with a degree in art criticism.
Stas's childhood was spent in military garrisons. The family managed to live in Belarus and East Germany. They soon returned to Moscow.
Namin Jr. graduated from the capital's school number 74, as well as the Suvorov School. He could have become a military man, but the guy was more attracted to music.
First performances
Being a cadet of the Suvorov military school, our hero became interested in rock music. His idols were such bands as RollingStones and The Beatles. In 1964, Stas Namin (see photo above) became a member of the "Magicians" group. The team consisted of several cadet boys.
In 1967, Anastas created his own group called the Politburo. In this case, he was helped by childhood friends and his brother Sasha. The musical group did not last long. In 1969, Namin moved to the Bliki group. At that time, he studied at the Institute of Foreign Languages.
Flowers
In the late 1960s, the hippie movement was at its peak. Under his influence, Stas Namin decided to create the Flowers group. The team consisted of young and talented guys. They immediately started recording songs. In 1973, "Flowers" released flexible records with a total circulation of 7 million pieces. All this was sold out in a few weeks. The team gained immense popularity among Soviet citizens.
In 1974, the group went on a tour of the major cities of the USSR. Everywhere rock musicians were greeted with a bang. However, in 1975 the team ceased to exist. And all because of a serious conflict with the Philharmonic. The USSR Ministry of Culture ordered Namin to disband the group.
Achievements
Stas Namin managed to open his own production center, recording studio, Music and Drama Theater, modeling agency and concert company. Over the years, he was engaged in the promotion of such groups as "Brigasa S", "Splin", "Kalinov Most" and others.
Private life
Stas Namin registered relations in the registry office three times. His first wife's name is Anna. They lived together for several years. In this marriage, a daughter, Masha (b. 1977), was born. Over time, the feelings that the spouses had for each other faded away. They got divorced.
The second wife of Stas was the singer Lyudmila Senchina. The girl conquered him with her natural beauty and gentle voice. But even in this case, family happiness did not last long.
Namina's current wife, Galina, has been living with him for over 25 years. The musician adopted her son from her first marriage, Roma (b. 1983), into the family. Soon fate gave them a common child. In 1993, Galina and Stas had a son, Artem. The couple still love each other, trying to spend as much time together as possible.
In conclusion
Now you know what path to success did Stas Namin. One can only envy his diligence, dedication and ingenuity.
