Kozakov is a native Petersburger. There is nothing surprising in the fact that he turned out to be an excellent screenwriter and director, because Mikhail's father was a professional writer, and his mother was an editor. The mother of the future artist was repeatedly arrested for not wanting to apply harsh ideological editing to the books and literary materials entrusted to her.

Parents never scolded Mikhail. They carried out their upbringing through long conversations and discussions of various topics. They also encouraged their son to read fiction.

Mikhail Kozakov after graduation entered the choreographic school. When the young man realized that he was actually attracted to the acting profession and directing, he went to get a second higher education at the Moscow Art Theater School.

Mikhail Kozakov first got on the set while still a student: in 1956 he made his debut in the film "Murder on Dante Street", where Valentin Gaft and Innokenty Smoktunovsky played their first roles with him. Kozakov was lucky, and he immediately got the main role. The film was directed by Mikhail Romm, also known for his works "Admiral Ushakov" and "History Lesson".

After such a successful debut, Kozakov began to appear in films regularly: "Far from the Motherland", "Eugenia Grande", "B altic Sky", "Amphibian Man". And he always got prominent roles. Kozakov's name has never "dangled" among the episode actors.

“State Border”

Kozakov Mikhail Mikhailovich in the role of Felix Dzerzhinsky reappeared in the same 80s, but in another popular series - "State Border".

This film won the USSR KGB award, because again the plot turned to the defenders of the state rest - this time to the life of Soviet border guards. A total of eight films were made. Mikhail Kozakov appeared only in the second, which was called "Peaceful Summer of 21".

According to the dynamically developing plot, the border Soviet city was captured by supporters of the Whiteguards with the support of Polish intelligence. The Chekists are faced with the task of driving the enemy out of the settlement. This operation is personally led by Comrade Dzerzhinsky, played by Mikhail Kozakov.

The actor looked so convincing in the image of the founder and head of the Cheka that he had to play Dzerzhinsky again - in 1981, but already in the film "December 20".

Death of Tairov

In 2004, Kozakov Mikhail Mikhailovich embodied on the screens the image of the famous Soviet director Tairov in the film "Death of Tairov". The picture was directed by Boris Blank, who throughout his career has been involved in film making mainly as an artist. In the Soviet period, Blank acted as a director-producer only when working on the film The Human Voice. But after the 90s, Boris Leibovich made a number of films, including the one mentioned in the sub title.

The fate of director Tairov was not easy, therefore it is a valuable find for the screenwriter: since 1904 Alexander Yakovlevich played in the theater, since 1908 he began to stage performances, in 1914 he created his own Chamber Theater. However, in 1949, the Soviet authorities closed Tairov's "brainchild", which the director could not bear and ended up in a psychiatric hospital. In 1950, the famous actor and director passed away.

The film deserves praise not only because of the excellent performance of the actors Mikhail Kozakov and Alla Demidova, but also the work of the costume designer, who was awarded the Nika and the Golden Eagle awards, turned out to be on top.

Carrot Love

Mikhail Kozakov -an actor who continued to act actively until his death in 2011. His last film work was the role of Dr. Kogan in the comedy Love-Carrot 3. Kozakov played the wizard doctor in all three parts, but did not have time to voice himself in the last one, so his son, actor Kirill Kozakov, did it for him.

According to the plot, Dr. Kogan is a man who completely turned the family life of Marina (Kristina Orbakaite) and Andrey Golubev (Gosha Kutsenko) upside down. In the first picture, the couple comes to see him herself, because they cannot restore their former feelings. Kogan helps to establish mutual understanding in the family by changing Marina and Andrey's bodies. In subsequent parts, he pulls off a similar trick with their children, as well as mother-in-law and father-in-law. On this cheerful and cheerful comedy work, the career of the famous actor and director Mikhail Kozakov ended.

Mikhail Kozakov is an actor who has been married five times.

His first chosen one was Greta Taar, with whom he went to school together. Greta once worked as a costume designer at Mosfilm. She bore Kozakov two children - Katerina (later became a philologist) and Cyril. The son followed in the footsteps of his father and became a famous Russian actor. He can be seen in the series "The Countess de Monsoro" as the Duke of Anjou, as well as in the fantastic film "The Calculator".

In 1968 Kozakov married Medea Berelashvili. Their joint daughter Manana Kozakova became a famous Georgian actress. In 71, the actor tied the knot with anothera woman - translator Regina Bykova. The couple did not have joint children. But two children were born to Kozakova Anna Yampolskaya, with whom he cohabited in Israel. From 2006 until the end of his days, Mikhail Kozakov lived with Nadezhda Sedova.

The director had five grandchildren during his lifetime. So we can safely say that Mikhail Kozakov left behind a whole dynasty.
