The writer especially notes among his hobbiescomputer games in the genre of RPG and TBS. According to the author himself, they attract him with fantastic stories and a fabulous atmosphere. At the moment, Pavel Kornev devotes all his free time to writing new novels, whose bibliography is presented below.

Border Series

The borderland is a space where pieces of our world sometimes fall through, along with buildings and people. This place is on the border between human reality and an alien universe. Cold reigns almost constantly in the Borderlands, and outside of a few cities and settlements it is easy to meet a werewolf, a living dead man and other evil spirits. Even just staying alive in this hostile place is not for the weak.

It was here that Pavel Kornev decided to throw his hero Alexander Lednev, better known to others as Ice or Slippery. The adventures of this outstanding character in all respects are narrated by the first four books of the series: "Ice", "Slippery", "Black Dreams", "Black Noon".

The works (especially the first part of the series) have gained unprecedented popularity among readers. Even those who dislike the fantasy genre were able to appreciate the talent and imagination of the author. In addition, it was this cycle that brought fame to the writer and the first award (the "Sword Without a Name" award from the Alpha Book publishing house).

Eugene's storyApostle

This dilogy is included by Pavel Kornev in the Borderland series, despite the fact that now the author's attention is focused on another character - Yevgeny Apostol. This is no longer Sasha Led, who is used to solving everything with brute force. Eugene is a clairvoyant, and his gift largely causes all the troubles of the hero.

The duology includes: "The Ice Citadel" and "Where It's Warm". Both books were surprisingly well-received not only by Kornev fans, but also by pioneers in the fighting fantasy genre.

About the return of Ice

In the seventh book, Pavel Kornev decided to return his hero. Sasha Lednev is back in the arena, who now has to solve a problem much more important than saving his own life. The Borderland space begins to invade reality. There are stable transitions between the worlds, which are immediately decided to take advantage of unknown, but very enterprising individuals.

Book “Ice. Cleaner”was not so unambiguously appreciated by the fans. Many have found that some of the descriptions are unnecessarily long, and our world is not like itself. As for the plot and characters, here the author remained true to himself.

Hop and Klondike

This part of the series was written by Pavel Kornev together with Andrey Cruz. Now there are two main characters: Nikolai Gordeev and Vyacheslav Khmelev. Their adventures are connected with the hard life of the Fort, one of the largest cities in the Borderlands.

To date, two books have been published: "Hop and Klondike" and "Cold, Beer, Shotgun". Preparing for publicationthe next is Witches, Map, Shotgun.

Co-authorship, according to many fans, did not benefit the writers. There is a strong transformation of the world of the Borderlands beyond recognition, the lack of development of characters and the absence of the former atmosphere.

The Exorcist Series

The world of this series is reminiscent of the Middle Ages, in which the danger of having a demon take over your soul is not at all illusory. Therefore, the profession of an exorcist here is a fairly common and useful craft. So it was until the moment when a person appeared who was able to command demons. This heretic quickly found allies and followers. And what remains for simple exorcists, for example, such as Sebastian March? It is this character that becomes the protagonist of the books: Cursed Metal, Reaper, Pestilence and Defiler.

This cycle had a lot more negative reviews than all the previous books of the writer. Many did not like the world, others found too many similarities between Ice and Sebastian March. However, there were also those who liked this essay.

Autumn City Series

Pavel Kornev started working on this series in 2013. To date, it is considered complete and includes two books: "Divisional Commissar" and "Without Anger and Predilection".

The events of this series unfold in a world split into parts that are connected only by railroad tracks. Time is frozen here, and the alchemical plants turn into an energy called Eternity. This world is filled with strange entities capable ofdrive you crazy with one touch. It is here that the protagonist of the novel lives - the special police commissioner Victor Gray. It fell to him to keep order in this strange world.

This series was liked by readers much more than the previous one. The world and characters turned out to be attractive, and the writer's appeal to the genre of science fiction was unusual and interesting.

In addition to the books described above, Kornev's pen belongs to the All-Good Electricity series, which includes the novels: Radiant and Heartless. The cycle is currently unfinished.
