Aleksey Rybnikov
The Alexei Rybnikov Theater was created by the composer himself. He was born in 1945 in Moscow. Alexei Lvovich's father was a violinist in the orchestra, and his mother was an artist. A. Rybnikov wrote his first works in childhood, being an eight-year-old boy. These were small pieces for the piano. At the age of eleven, he wrote a ballet called Puss in Boots.
The future composer graduated from the Central Music School of Moscow and entered the conservatory, the composition department. Alexei Lvovich was a student of the composer Aram Khachaturian. A. Rybnikov graduated from the Conservatory in 1967 with honors and remained in his educational institution as a teacher, where he worked for 6 years. In 1989, he completed his postgraduate studies.
In 1979, Alexey Lvovich was recognized as the most popular composer in the country and was awarded the prize of the international film festival in the nomination "Best music for the film." In 1999 he received the title of People'sartist.

Life without love”, “About Little Red Riding Hood”, etc.; for animated films: "Mummi Troll", "Anansi the Spider", "The Wolf and the Seven Kids in a New Way", "The Black Hen", "The Feast of Disobedience", etc. He also wrote the mystery "Liturgy of the Catechumens", the musical drama "Maestro Massimo", ballet on ice "Toy Store", many symphonic works, chamber and choral music.
History of the theater
The Alexei Rybnikov Theater has existed since 1992. Initially, the composer created it in order to stage his new work - the mystery "Liturgy of the Catechumens". The building where rehearsals and performances were held was very small, the auditorium was designed for only 40 seats. In 1999, the theater was given the status of a state theater. In 2008, the troupe presented to the public the premiere of the rock opera "Joaquin" (the old name is "The Star and Death of Joaquin Murieta"). The premiere of the production of "Juno and Avos" took place in 2009. The troupe travels with tours in Russia and abroad. And to this day does not have its ownstage platform of the theater of Alexei Rybnikov. Actors who perform roles in performances in Moscow most often play in the House of Music.
