Historical facts

This Big Circus was designed by talented engineers Efim Petrovich Vulykha and Yakov Borisovich Beropolsky, and subsequently erected under their vigilant guidance. Its grand opening took place in the spring of 1971.

From 1978 and for the next five years, the famous people's artist Yevgeny Timofeevich Milaev headed the Great Moscow Circus on Vernadsky Avenue, who, in addition, was also a Hero of Socialist Labor.

How to get there?

The Great Moscow State Circus is located in the south-west of the capital, or rather, in the Gagarinsky district, and its neighbor is the Botanical Garden of Moscow University.
