Grandparents play a very important role in the lives of many people. Sometimes they are engaged in our upbringing, sometimes they spoil us beyond measure, but they love us, probably more than the parents themselves! And sometimes they even replace them. It's good to have such people in life. What a pity that not all of us have them. Let's talk today about how to draw grandparents, these irreplaceable family members. Encourage your child to create together, watching how he will do it.
How to draw grandparents
When a child is small, he sometimes reaches for a pencil himself and tries to portray something or someone. The main thing for parents is not to ruin this craving for creativity in the child, which manifests itself on a piece of paper. Let the drawing look imperfect (and this happens 99 times out of 100), the lines are broken, the image resembles a caricature - do not be upset, because at a younger age, and even in primary school, the child still does not have enough fine motor skills of fingers and hands. And accordingly, it is natural that a children's drawing almost always turns out to be not entirely realistic. The main principle is not to interfere with the baby, but on the contrary, try to help him, show how to draw grandparents with simple lines using a pencil. And then - offer to paint the picture with bright colors. Here, as a rule, any preschooler will give odds to a professional. After all, a child's pure vision of flowers is sometimes able to fascinate with its immediacy and fantastic originality. So, tell your child how to draw a grandma and grandpa, offer to create together, and you will see what pleasure both he and you will experience!
What you need to draw
If a child is 5-6 years old, you should not delve into the intricacies of drawing with pencils (unless, of course, your child attends an art studio where the basics of artistic creativity have already been obtained). For an evening spent creatively, you and your baby will need pencils (it is advisable to choose softer ones so that it is more convenient to draw), an eraser, a sheet or some thick drawing paper, you can take gouache paints and brushes to invite your child to color your joint work.
How to draw grandparents step by step
- Let's not complicate the drawing and its composition (especially if the child is small). Place grandma and grandpa in the middleleaf, sitting or standing. By the way, you can offer to draw only faces - it will be even easier.
- On a clean face, draw two ovals - future heads. Working together with the baby.
- We attach two bigger ovals from below. These are torsos.
- Add arms and legs.
- In the ovals of the faces draw the eyes, nose, mouth. Adding features. For example, a mustache for a grandfather, a handkerchief for a grandmother.
- Then we more carefully draw the torso, arms, legs together with the child. Wipe the excess lines with an eraser.
- When the sketch is ready, invite your child to color it with gouache.
We dry the work and use it as a gift for grandparents, we hope that they will be very happy!
