The rise of Amanda Clarke as an artist
The biggest influence on Amanda was her father. Rick Clark became an artist after a long and successful career in the business. He left Inverloch, where he created and sold many works, including landscapes of the local nature. The move to Sorrento was the beginning of a love affair with the beautiful land and seascapes of the surrounding area, and many of his paintings adorn the walls of local buildings.
Rick's love of painting and drawing became a shining example for Amanda, and she recalls that she has never seen him so happy as when he held a brush in his hands.
Having a background in the natural sciences, Amanda, like her father, gave up her career inscience and business to devote more time to the study of art. Traveling for work and pleasure opened up amazing places around the world for her, and Amanda began to expand her repertoire, including landscapes, including sea and city, of the places she visited during her travels.
Amanda Clarke is primarily self-taught, although she has participated in many art courses and workshops. In 2010, Amanda entered the Latrobe College of Art and Design, majoring in fine arts.
This gave her knowledge and understanding of new techniques and skills in painting, graphics, sculpture and installations, and also became a valuable source of inspiration. She discovered new techniques, including street art.
Creative activity
Artist Amanda Clark received her State Diploma in Ceramics in the early 1990s, which helped her develop her use of color and texture in her paintings. She also creates jewelry, ceramics and unusual dolls.

And in 2009, she exhibited her work for the first time in an art salon in Sorrento. Amanda has also regularly participated in various exhibitions held at the Continental Hotel in Sorrento.
