Childhood and youth

Konstantin was born in February 1961, the 6th. His father, Lev Konstantinovich Ernst, is an honored biologist, academician of VASKhNIL, doctor and professor of agricultural sciences and vice-president of the Russian Agricultural Academy.

The first steps in a television career

In 1988, Konstantin Ernst first appeared on television - he became the face of the Vzglyad program. In the same year, he tried himself as a director - he shot a video for the song "Aerobics" by the Alisa group. The very next year, 1989, the director presented to the audience his first full-length work - the film "Radio of Silence", and a little later the short feature film "Homo Duplex". Ernst's first works became evidence that he has an undoubted talent and is truly doing his job.

In 1990, Konstantin Lvovich appeared as the author and TV presenter of the Matador program. At this time, the general producer of the VID television company, Vladislav Listyev, gavea serious assignment to a colleague - to develop a plan for the transformation of the first channel.

In November 1994, Boris Yeltsin issued a decree on the creation of JSC ORT, the first independent channel in Russia (now Channel One). The civil wife of Konstantin Lvovich is now Larisa Sinelshchikova, the head of the Red Square television company, which closely cooperates with Channel One. The couple is raising Larisa's two children from her first marriage - son Igor and daughter Anastasia.

The first wife of Ernst Konstantin is the theater critic Seluance Anna. In 1995, she gave birth to his daughter Alexandra.
