Let's start, perhaps, with the composer, whose name the students of music schools learn first - Johann Sebastian Bach. In the list of his works, a place of honor is occupied by church chorales, plays and suites written for organ and orchestra. An amazing combination of styles takes place in them: pompous baroque, the severity of church canons and all the experiences that Bach put into it. Firstly, the opera Crazy Day, or The Marriage of Figaro deserves applause. Everything here is ingeniously and insanely beautiful: from the overture to the melodious arias. Complicated by ear, but incredibly beautiful is "Fantasy" in D-moll. The change of moods is clearly traced in it, the musician moves from a bright “forte” to a barely audible “piano”. And, of course, the undisputed masterpieces of classical music are his last three symphonies: 39, 40 and 41. Every person hears their melodies, even those who do not know their author.

The first composer to sit down at the piano familiar to us was Ludwig van Beethoven. It was he who wrote the famous play "To Elise", dedicated to his beloved. Also on the list of his creations is the "Moonlight Sonata" with its lingering and thoughtful first part and bright third. Many of his works bear the title of "golden masterpieces of classical music", as they literally speak to the listeners. For example, his Symphony No. 5 seems to say that fate is knocking at the door. There are also masterpieces in the work of Russian composers, no less talented and gifted than Western ones. The 10th Symphony by Dmitri Shostakovich deserves special attention, built on contrasts of mood and sharp changes in shades.
