A courageous and strong man, even in the hospital, fought until the last minute of his life. At first, the doctors assessed the producer's condition as stable, but then the situation changed dramatically, and on February 27, the journalist's heart stopped. The cause of death of Sergei Kushnarev was called a second stroke.
The 54-year-old producer was buried at the Khovansky cemetery. All colleagues and friends came to see him off. A lot of ordinary viewers took the time to say goodbye to Sergey.
