Belarusian films were produced even before World War II. Although in our time produced a lot of similar paintings. The film studio "Belarusfilm" has released many films. Especially pictures about the war. These tapes describe many of the exploits of our soldiers who fought for their homeland, giving their lives. There are many patriotic films, but there are also dramatic ones that show how difficult it was for those who were in the rear to survive.
Come and See
The film "Come and See" tells about a teenager Fleur, who, despite the protests of his mother, leaves for a partisan detachment. In the detachment, he meets a girl named Glasha. But due to her age, Fleur is not taken into the squad. The teenager decides to leave the camp, taking Glasha with him.
But after quite a bit of time, a German punitive detachment attacks the camp. The entire partisan platoon dies under a massive enemy attack. Teenagers miraculously survive and return to the village, which also came under fire from the Nazis. Flera finds a small group of survivors, but does not see her family there. Upon learning that they died and, blaming himself for their death, he decides to commit suicide, but the villagers do not allow him to commit suicide. The teenager becomes rude, nothing remains of the experienced childish appearance. Flera goes through many trials, he sees the cruelty and heartlessness of the Nazis. An entire village is being burned before his eyes. German soldiers mock him, taking advantage of his weakness. But, getting into a detachment of partisans, he joins their ranks. The picture shows all the horrors of the war through the eyes of a teenager, that residents and home front workers suffered no less than Soviet soldiers on the front line.
Fit for non-combatant
What other interesting Belarusian films about the war? For example, "Fit for non-combatant." This film tells about the cavalry division, which gets a recruit. Vladimir Danilin has no horse riding experience at all. But the harsh rules of war make him a real horseman and soldier.

The girl was left all alone in the territory, completely captured by the Nazis. She takes refuge in the house of an old forester. The Nazis set a reward for the capture in order to blackmail Panas. The forester's grandson, risking his life, saves the commander's daughter.

Petrok and his wife Stepanida are trying to get along with the German invaders in the same settlement. But live side by side withit is very difficult for those who do not consider them to be people. But everything ends very badly when the owners of the house try to claim their rights. Stepanida locks herself in her house and sets it on fire.
Brest Fortress
Describing Belarusian films, of course, one cannot fail to mention the famous "Brest Fortress". The film of the same name, taken in 2010, describes all the hardships of those who took the first blow from Nazi Germany. The film is told on behalf of Sasha Akimov, who in 1941 was a pupil of a musical platoon. Nothing foreshadowed trouble, the boy was fishing on the river with the daughter of Lieutenant Andrei Kizhevatov. Suddenly, a quiet noise is deafened by the sounds of flying fighters. Anya immediately runs to her father, and Sasha - to the gathering place in case of mobilization. Panic seizes the entire garrison, people take weapons without orders, others try to escape through the central gate.
But no one manages to get out, they are met by enemy crossfire, as a result, everyone who tried to run out through the main entrance died. The Kholmsky gates are captured by the enemy, the aggressors lead the prisoners of war forward, hiding behind their backs. The Nazis demand to surrender, Commissar Fomin enters the negotiations with his hands up. He approaches at close range and with a loud command "Lie down" orders the prisoners to lie down. As a result, the Nazis, having lost their human shield, are destroyed by the crossfire of Fomin's platoon.
Sasha sees total chaos, he was instructed to run to a special house, but it was destroyed. Andrey Kizhevatov understands that this fight is not for himends, he sends his wife and daughter Anya into captivity, and he himself remains with his soldiers to fight to the death. The soldiers who remained in the fortress fought until their deaths, no one surrendered to the enemy. Voice-over tells about the fate of many soldiers and officers who were awarded posthumously. Sasha gets out of the fortress. Walking across the field, he clutches a small bundle, later it becomes clear that this is a battle banner.
