Early years

Andrey Novikov, whose biography is discussed in our material, was born on December 16, 1979 in the German city of Dresden. The father of the future artist was a hereditary military man and served as a battalion commander. It was assumed that in the future the boy was also destined for a career in this field. However, the fate of the guy was different.

Already at the age of 11, Andrei Novikov began acting in films. At this time, the entire class of the boy was invited to take part in tests for filming in the film of the famous Soviet director Igor Apasyan. Andrey was lucky to get a job, who got the image of Tom Spaulding in the Dandelion Wine film. The story is based on the story of the same name by science fiction writer Ray Bradbury. It is noteworthy that in the film Andrei Novikov had a chance to work on the same set with such eminent artists as Vladimir Zeldin, Innokenty Smoktunovsky and Liya Akhedzhakova. From the latter, the young artist gained a lot of valuable experience.

Career development

The finest hour of the artist

Real success came to Andrey Novikov after participating in the Graffiti project. Here the actor played the main character named Andrei Dragunov. It is worth noting that for filming in the film, the artist deliberately refused to cooperate with Fyodor Bondarchuk himself, who invited him to the no less promising film "9th Company".

The film "Graffiti" tells the story of a young student of an art school. Lastdevotes his free time to decorating the walls of the city with his own creations. Soon, the carefree life of the hero is overshadowed by unforeseen problems. Despite such a simple plot of the film, Novikov managed to fully reveal the character of his own hero and convey to the viewer the complexity of his character's feelings.
