Fairy tales are a genre of literature that originates long before our era. From ancient times, all people at all times were very fond of fairy tales. And this is not at all surprising. Any work of this genre carries a deep meaning, teaches the listener kindness and respect for elders. The Russian writer A. N. Afanasiev retold many Russian fairy tales and thus was able to convey and preserve them for many generations.
Description of the work
In every fairy tale there is a confrontation between good and evil. "Crystal Mountain" - a fairy tale, which is a confirmation of this. This work, being a Russian folk tale, carries a deep meaning. The power of evil appears before the reader in different images and always gets in the way of good and happiness. In "Crystal Mountain" the road to happiness is strewn with many difficulties, and only having faith in a miracle and doing good deeds, Ivan Tsarevich will achieve what he wants, destroy the villains and save the world.
"Crystal Mountain" - a fairy tale with a beautiful name
This name is not accidental. In the plot there is a real Crystal Mountain. In a fairy tale, she resembles a certain cage in which a beautiful princess was imprisoned. A beautiful, but at the same time lifeless mountain covered the castle of the princess more and more. This is the personification of evil, just as in our time negativity is spreading in the soul of people, every day filling their hearts with hatred and anger. A reminder of the greed and cruelty of people on the way to what they want. Breaking such spells can be difficult at times, but kindness and true love are powerful.
"Crystal Mountain". Heroes of the plot
As it should be in any fairy tale, there are positive and negative characters in it. In the fairy tale "Crystal Mountain" there is Koschei. The real villain, who is the main instigator of intrigue. If you deal with him, the magic spell will subside, and the sun will shine in the sky again, and the singing of birds will be heard. However, such a task is not simple. It is difficult to deal with the villain, because his death is a seed that is in the egg, the egg is placed in the duck, the duck is in the hare, the hare is located in the chest, and the chest is hidden in the body of the twelve-headed serpent itself. The key to solving the death of the villain was good deeds. Ivan Tsarevich helped the forest dwellers, and they repaid with kindness. Now Ivan Tsarevich is able to turn into a falcon and an ant, which made it possible to unravel the evil plan of the villain.
Shortcontent
Almost in all Russian folk tales there is a confrontation between good and evil. In the fairy tale "Crystal Mountain" a summary of the plot begins with the three sons asking for their father's blessing to go hunting. It is here in the forest that Ivan Tsarevich meets his first test. He saw a dead horse, and around it were animals that could not separate it. The hero of the fairy tale needed to help the forest dwellers cope with this difficult task. The difficulty of the decision was that it was impossible to offend anyone. Using ingenuity and intelligence, Ivan easily coped with the test. For this, the animals rewarded him with the ability to turn into a falcon and an ant.
How Ivan Tsarevich defeated evil
Turning into a falcon, Ivan flew to another kingdom and saw that he was half drawn in by the Crystal Mountain. Intrigued by this picture, the hero decides to turn to the king with a request to take him into service. As befits the plot of a fairy tale, the tsar's daughter falls in love with Ivan and asks permission to go for a walk with him to Crystal Mountain. Having approached the mountain, young people noticed a golden goat. Chasing her, Ivan lost the princess. He could not return to the palace without his daughter, he could not look her father in the eyes. Then the prince decides to turn into an old man and ask the king to be a shepherd. Instructing the flock to pasture, the king gives the order to the shepherd. That if a three-headed serpent flies, then three cows must be given, if a six-headed serpent, then six cows, and a twelve-headed serpent - twelve heads. But Ivan Tsarevich did not give a single cow, not a single villain. Showing intelligence and courage, he was able to fight the villains.
Turning into an ant, the prince was able to crawl through the crack into the Crystal Mountain. As it turned out, the princess was there, who told him the secret of Koshchei's death. It was a seed (and there was a seed in an egg, an egg in a duck, a duck in a hare, a hare in a chest, a chest in the body of the most terrible snake). Having won this battle, the prince was able not only to emerge victorious, but also to marry the princess.
What does a fairy tale teach?
"Crystal Mountain" is a work that carries a deep meaning and teaches its readers a lot. Namely:
- Courage. Every person in every situation is tested. Fate itself tests his strength, and if you do not show courage, then you can just break.
- Respect for elders. The tale itself begins with a request for the father's blessing. The walk of the prince and princess also takes place only with the consent of the parent. And Ivan could not appear before the eyes of the tsar without the princess. A sense of responsibility towards the older generation should be brought up in the minds of young people.
- The fact that any difficult situation can be overcome if you show resourcefulness and ingenuity. The very death of Koshchei is presented to the reader in the form of a well-known nesting doll. There is always a big one in it, a smaller one in this one, a smaller one in that one, and so on. Opening each one in turn, you can cope with difficulties, although sometimes it is tedious and, as it may seem at first glance, impossible.
Relevance of Russiansfolk tales are not lost today. Now in a rapidly developing world, there is so little simple respect for elders, skill and patience. People often have no time to just say hello to each other, listen to the opinions of others. Fairy tales like "Crystal Mountain" are a must-read for the younger generation.
