How to draw a slide with a pencil

Slides come in all shapes and forms, from the straight-running metal slides found in playgrounds to the spiraling and tube-like slides found in water parks. And how to draw different slides, and will be discussed in the article.

Kids slide

To draw a playground slide, draw a pair of parallel, inverted V-shaped lines. Connect them at the ends. This will form the legs of the slide.

Then draw four curved parallel lines and connect them at the top and bottom. Thus, you will get the slide itself. Apply a little shading to the curve of the slide.

Draw another pair of inverted V-shaped lines that can be seen behind the slide and support its opposite side.

Draw pairs of horizontal parallel stripes between the sides of the V-shaped lines to show the steps of the slide. The finished slide can be painted at your discretion.

Spiral slide

Drawing a spiral slide may seem difficult at first, but it's actually pretty easy. You just need to follow a few simple steps:

1. To draw a slide with a pencil, draw an arc resembling the letter "C".
2. Draw another arc next to it, forming the first turn of the slide, which looks like a crescent moon.
3. Draw a small line from the center of the resulting figure to the right. Connect the rightmost point of this line with the top point of the crescent shape.
4. Also draw a straight line under this figure. On the left, connect it to the crescent with a curved line, on the right - with a small semicircle.
5. From the inside of the crescent, draw two more lines repeating its shape. Thus, you will get the first round of the slide.
6. Under the existing figure, draw another one of the same, and under it - another one. You can draw as many turns as you like. From the bottom of the last turn of your slide, you need to draw a figure in the form of the letter "U".

Snow Hill

The easiest way to draw a winter hill is with paints. For the drawing you will need:

• gouache;
• water container;
• PVA glue;
• pencil HB;
• two brushes (large and small);
• paper napkins;
• thick paper.

Here's how to draw a slide step by step:

1. Sketch with a pencil. Mark the horizon line and draw mountains.
2. Add a couple of snow-covered houses in the background, and a snow-covered tree and spruce in the foreground.
3. Draw a snowman between houses and trees with a pencil.
4. Next to him doingsketch of a child in winter clothes.
5. Draw a boy riding a sleigh down a hill.
6. You can also draw a few children playing in the snow and snow-covered bushes.
7. When you've finished your pencil sketch, start coloring. It is best to start with the sky and paint it blue. To get a blue tint, mix white and blue paint.
8. Add clouds to the sky using white gouache.
9. Tear paper napkins into pieces, put them in a bowl and add PVA glue.
10. Apply the resulting mixture on tree trunks, branches of bushes and Christmas trees, as well as on houses. This will make your drawing more voluminous and realistic.
11. Wait for the mixture to dry before painting. Apply light brown paint to the houses and dark brown paint to the tree trunks. Paint the spruce branches green. Some tree trunks can be left white and painted with black stripes to represent birches.
12. Color the snowman and clothes on the kids.
13. After the first coat of paint dries, add white paint to the windows and doors of the houses. Also finish the smoke coming from the pipes.
14. Paint the lines of snowdrifts and slides with light blue paint.

Water slide

To draw a hill with a pencil step by step, first draw a horizontal line in the middle of a sheet of paper using a simple HB pencil. This will be the pool line.

Draw two parallel wavy lines about 10cm above the first horizontal stripe. They should beperpendicular to the first line. Connect the parallel lines at the top with a curved perpendicular. Do the same at the bottom. This will be the water slide itself.

Add a vertical line going down from the top of the slide to the pool line. This will be the stairs leading up to the top of your waterslide. Then add four horizontal lines from the back of the slide to the vertical strip you just drew. These will be steps.

Next, to draw a slide, draw a fence on top, adding two arcs on both sides.

Use wavy lines to create waves in your pool. Add some shadow and depth to your slide by painting in the center with a simple pencil.
