Long before the start of the New Year holidays and winter holidays, responsible parents are sorting out options for entertainment and fun for their beloved children. And here it is hardly possible to do without a festive tree! But the list of performances is so wide that it is difficult to guess where the child will be fun and interesting.
The most luxurious and grandiose event was prepared last year by the Zapashny brothers. This time the circus performances were based on Slavic legends and fairy tales, which were embodied in the program "Prophetic Dream" (Vernadsky's circus) so colorfully, fantastically and captivatingly. Feedback from the enthusiastic audience proved that the organizers managed to please not only children, but also adults.
United Format
Creative fantasy knows no bounds, and only circus art can masterfully and multidimensionally embody it. Famous trainers brothers Zapashny ventured onlarge-scale experiment, resorting to a new format of the circus show - United. The Moscow public was presented with two productions in parallel at once: "The Prophetic Dream" and "The Mistress of the Dead Lake", which took place at two different venues. The first - in the Big Circus on Vernadsky Avenue, the second - in Luzhniki, in the small arena. Both programs are united by a common style of Slavic fantasy, well-known fairy-tale characters, plot locations. The difference lies in the way we look at events, the fantasy world and its characters.
Storyline
Colorful Slavic mythology, surrounded by a halo of mystery, was originally presented and played out in the circus program "Prophetic Dream" (Vernadsky's circus). The description of the king's life in fairy-tale lands inhabited by flying dragons, cunning witches and wood goblins formed the basis of the plot of the performance.
The ruler of Tsarevgrad was widowed early, but he still had one consolation - his beautiful daughter Elena. The intrigue of the performance begins with her unexpected and mysterious disappearance. The king searched for her for a long time, but in vain. And so that he would not be so sad, he had to marry a second time. And now the king has a dream where his beloved daughter comes to him and puts a golden ring on his finger. Elena tells her father to go to the magic well. And the king understands that important changes are coming. Time to wake up…
The fairy tale is filled with humor, unexpected characters and plot twists. In the finale, as is customary in Russian fairy tales, goodness triumphs over evil and insidious devilry.
Artists
All this theatrical action is accompanied by bright and exciting numbers of aerialists, plastic tightrope walkers, virtuoso acrobats on masts and illusionists. To immerse yourself in a fantastic atmosphere, animals are also attracted: funny ponies and bears, perky dogs and goats. As well as exotic species such as hyenas, llamas, parrots, mesmerizing pythons and crocodiles.
To create a rich circus program, theater artists, the best technical specialists, and organizers were also involved. Among the "star" circus artists - acrobats "Kenya Boys".
Costumes
Thematic props and costumes of artists for the performance "Prophetic Dream" (Vernadsky Circus) are an original fairy tale setting. Their description can be summed up in several key epithets: bright, creative and detailed. Each image of the artist is not just a colorful make-up and a sequined leotard. This is an amazing design study of each element of the costume, which together recreates a full-fledged mythological character, whether it be a beautiful princess in Slavic attire or forest evil spirits with her characteristic hooves and horns.
