But the second part fell into smithereens… But this is only in their native States, which, to put it mildly, took the picture coldly. Racer 2 had a budget of just $57 million and grossed around $51 million in the US, while it earned almost $150 million worldwide. These numbers are far from the first part, but still give a chance to continue the ghost story.

Where did the "Ghostlyracer"?

Johnny Blaze is a stunt motorcyclist who works alongside his father. One day, Johnny learns about his father's fatal illness and makes a deal with the Devil himself in order to save his beloved father. The father is saved, the disease has receded, but soon he still dies during the performance of the trick. Blaze is furious because the Devil deceived the naive guy. But there is nowhere to go, the contract is concluded: according to it, Johnny is obliged to send human souls to hell. The biker decides to hunt the bad guys and pay off the devil.

Years later, Blaze becomes an invulnerable motorcycle racer who is not afraid of the most dangerous stunts and injuries. People are surprised at the biker's abilities, but only Blaze knows at what cost this gift was given to him. At this time, a revolution takes place in hell, and the son of the Devil decides to overthrow his father. Johnny Blaze is drawn into the very center of mystical events.

Is there a release date for Ghost Rider 3?

It has already been said above that the second "ghostly" picture did not live up to anyone's hopes. Critics unanimously ignored the new project, and moviegoers left completely unflattering reviews. All these facts put the release of the triquel under a big question. However, in 2013, the Marvel film studio bought all the rights to Ghost Rider, which led to a lot of questions and expectations. After the main actor Nicolas Cage signed the contract for the new Racer, all assumptions about the filming of the new part were dispelled. Probably the release date of "Ghostlyracer 3" is just around the corner, and the premiere of the film is literally on the nose.

There are still a few issues to be resolved regarding funding and a script that is not yet fully written. But the fact that Cage appeared on the set in a leather jacket pleases all movie fans who are looking forward to the new screening.

The exact release date for "Ghost Rider 3" is still unknown, but one thing is clear - it will be spring 2019.

What to expect from the sequel?

The plot is based on Blaze's confrontation with devilish forces. There is information that the hell rider will transfer his abilities to a new hero - Daniel Katch. In the comic book story, Blaze dies, so his powers are transferred to another motorcycle ghost. But these are only assumptions, since the script has not yet been completed - you can expect any ending.

We look forward to the sequel to "Ghost Rider", a teaser trailer for which could be released anytime. In Russia, the release date of "Ghost Rider 3" is also not known, but we think the picture will not be long in coming.
