The directors could not take Ivan for the main roles, because there were candidates more suitable in texture, however, it was unforgivable not to take such a charming, tall and trained skater. It was then that it was decided to introduce another character into the script - Vadim Nazarov. Inspired by Ivan's appearance, the writers came up with the role on the fly.

Vadim is a guy who is about to graduate from school, his main hobby is hockey. Compared to other players, his abilities were quitemediocre. Vadim wants to be noticed too, he achieves this with the help of conflicts and insolence in relation to other team members. At the same time, the guy is ready to do anything for the victory of his team, even to step over himself. Under the shell of a daring young man, a kind and even somewhat altruistic young man is hiding. When the team members get to know Vadim better, they accept him and begin to respect him. Vadim's passion for hockey leads to the fact that he does not even plan his future life, does not know whether he will receive a higher education. Also, one of his distinguishing features is secrecy - he does not like to talk about his sympathy for anyone and does not discuss his personal life.

Ivan Dubrovsky still remembers his participation in this project. On the one hand, he enjoyed the process of filming. But at the same time, it took a lot of effort to prepare for the series, the guys were exhausted by daily training, and after that it was necessary to play their role just as well.
