Early years

Actor Ivan Krasko was born on September 23, 1930. Our hero was born in the small village of Vartemyagi, which was located near Leningrad. From an early age, the boy had to endure many hardships dictated by wartime. To avoid a beggarly existence in the future, the guy was determined to achieve great success in life.

Having reached the age of majority, Ivan was selected for the B altic Naval School. Then our hero was in the position of commander of the ship. Having reached the rank of lieutenant, Krasko decided to quit serving in the Navy and make his childhood dream come true by becoming a professional actor.

Ivan doubted that he would be able to qualify for the theater school without special training. Therefore, he soon began to attend an acting studio, where he learned stage skills for the whole 3 years. ATAt the age of 27, Ivan Krasko finally entered the Ostrovsky Theater Institute.

Work in the theater

After graduating from the institute, aspiring actor Ivan Krasko got a place in the troupe of the Leningrad Drama Theater. For several years, the young artist had to go on stage exclusively in the images of minor characters. Our hero realized that nothing was going to happen to him on this creative platform.

Soon actor Ivan Krasko moved to the Theater on Liteiny. However, here the artist also did not last long. He managed to play a small role in only one performance. This was followed by his invitation to the troupe of the Komissarzhevskaya Drama Theater. As it turned out later, Ivan Krasko was destined to devote more than 5 decades of his life to work within these walls.

Over the years of intense theatrical activity, the artist has played in dozens of successful productions. Movie career

In 1961, Ivan Krasko first appeared on wide screens. The debut work for the artist in the cinema was the episodic role of a nameless pilot in the film "B altic Sky". Then, for more than a decade, the actor got mostly minor, rather inconspicuous roles.

Only in 1974 did Krasko make the audience talk about his own person. The success of the actor brought the role of Major Grigoriev in3-episode television project "Police Sergeant". Ivan's partners on the set were such famous artists as Oleg Yankovsky, Lyubov Sokolova and Tatiana Vedeneeva.

Successful for Krasko was shooting in the film "The End of the Emperor of the Taiga", which was released in 1978. Here the actor played one of the main roles, appearing before the audience in the form of the ataman of bandits Ivan Solovyov. It is worth noting that this work is one of the most notable in the artist's career.

With the advent of the new century, the actor got roles in the most numerous television series. The actor appeared in such successful projects as Lethal Force, Turkish March, Streets of Broken Lanterns, National Security Agent.

Private life

Our hero has been married four times in his life. The first wife of the artist was actress Ekaterina Ivanova. From this union, a daughter appeared in the family, who was named Galina. The relationship lasted 4 years, after which the couple decided to divorce.

In 1956, actor Ivan Krasko marries Kira Petrova. A year passed and the couple had a son named Andrei. Then the family was replenished with a daughter, who was named Julia. A year after the birth of the girl, the actor's wife died suddenly. Ivan Ivanovich for a long time could not move away from the heavy loss.

For the third time, the actor linked fate with Natalya Vyal, who served as a props manager at the Komissarzhevskaya Theatre. The couple lived together for about 10 years. Then the wife left Ivan after an affair with a young man named Andrei.

84-year-old actor Ivan Krasko married for the fourth time. In 2015, one of his students, Natalya Shevel, became the chosen one of the elderly artist. For many, this union came as a real surprise, since the age difference between husband and wife was as much as 60 years.
