Writer's biography

Zlotnikov's bibliography contains a large number of different works. He was born in the closed city of Arzamas-16 in 1963. He received his secondary education in Obninsk, where the future famous bard Mikhail Shcherbakov studied with him.

Roman Zlotnikov received his higher education at the Higher Military Command School in Saratov. Having received a diploma, he served in the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 1986 he married, a year later his daughter Olga was born.

In 1992, already in the rank of captain, Roman Zlotnikov came to the Obninsk branch of the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. There he taught psychology and shooting. Participated in scientific conferences, published in authoritative publications. In 1993, his son Ivan was born.

Zlotnikov finally retired in 2004 with the rank of police colonel.

Fantastic action movie

After its release, the books "Rising from the Ashes", "And the many-faced came …", "The Last Raid" also appeared. The same series includes several books written by Zlotnikov in collaboration with other authors. Zlotnikov's "Berserkers" series tells about a post-apocalyptic world that survived an alien invasion. The Earth turned out to be conquered by hordes of Aliens who have been enslaving people for several decades, turning them into genetic material for a developed techno-civilization.

But there are still uncontrolled populations on Earth. One of them is berserkers, warriors who have dedicated themselves to the god Odin. Mankind forgot about them back in the Middle Ages, but in vain. Now it turns out that they are hardly the only hope for salvation for all people.

The first novel in this series, "Rebellion at the Outskirts of the Galaxy", describes the state of affairs on a planet that has survived an alien invasion. The air defense systems of Russia and America were completely destroyed when the invasion began, they did not even have time to put up the slightest resistance. Cansquebrons land on Earth, for whom our planet is just another target in intergalactic space. Their main goal is to destroy the existing version of civilization.

After the first novel, Zlotnikov wrote a sequel. In 2000, a new book was published called "Fighters from the Outskirts of the Galaxy", and in 2008 "Princess from the Outskirts of the Galaxy".
