How long ago were you at an art exhibition in Moscow? But all the museums of the capital daily offer anyone who wants to look at the best masterpieces of world art. Don't put off until later what you can watch this weekend. So how do you make the most of your weekend?
Classic Art
Speaking of exhibitions in art museums in Moscow, the first thing I want to note is the expanded exposition of paintings presented in the house-museum of V. Vasnetsov. Every year, the employees of the institution organize a demonstration of little-known paintings by the famous Russian painter for guests and residents of the capital. This year the theme was "landscapes". An inexperienced viewer may be surprised that Viktor Vasnetsov painted nature not as an addition to his canvases, but as a finished work. Many associate the painter with the glorification of Russian life and people. But not always a person served as an inspiration for the artist. The picture will be complete only if the background is as deliberate asfront. Vasnetsov knew this well and often painted nature from nature. He was very fond of Moscow landscapes, which formed the basis of such works as Alyonushka, Bogatyrs and many other paintings.
Anyone can visit this exhibition and look at the landscapes of Vasnetsov until September 17, 2017. The exhibition takes place in the house-museum of the artist at the address: Moscow, per. Vasnetsova, 13.
Creativity of our contemporaries
Art exhibitions taking place in Moscow are usually associated with the creators of the past, but do not forget that talented people are often found among our contemporaries. One of them is Sergey Gonkov. He is a renowned illustrator with a portfolio of over 50 books. Among them are world-famous authors: Bulgakov and Gogol, as well as the famous Russian writers Turgenev and Chekhov. An interesting feature of Gonkov is that for each work he comes up with a unique style of drawing. The exhibition of book illustrations is held at the address: Moscow, Gorokhovsky lane, 17. You can visit it from 11:00 to 19:00.
Unconventional Art
One of the interesting art exhibitions in Moscow is the exhibition of works by people with autism. Recently, more and more often the work of such artists is in demand.
It's interesting how the world is seen by a person who does not need others for a comfortable existence. The exhibition "People must be different" raises a lotsocial questions, the answers to which, unfortunately, are very difficult to give. You can look at how people with autism see the world at the address: Moscow, st. Dolskaya, 1, Small Palace.
Richness of color
The organization of the art exhibition in Moscow of the famous artist Vazha Okitashvili is due to the Museum of Modern Art. After all, it was his employees who organized the exhibition of the artist's works for the 65th anniversary. The exhibition, which will be held in the exhibition hall of the Russian Academy of Arts, will feature 150 paintings by Okitashvili. The artist's work is original. It is impossible not to smile when looking at his work, because they are all so colorful and bright. But at the same time, all paintings carry a deep inner meaning. The Georgian painter chooses home, family and scenes from everyday life as the main theme of his work. The artist is trying to unite generations through his art.
The paintings presented at the exhibition will find recognition not only among adult viewers, but also among the smallest art lovers. You can get spiritual pleasure at the address: Moscow, st. Prechistenka, 21.
Endangered Animals
A new art exhibition opened in Moscow in early March. Under the roof of the Darwin Museum, an exhibition of works by artist Andy Warhol, which is called Endangered Species, was presented. The exhibition was dedicated to the year of ecology.
The organizers of this event through the paintings want to drawvisitors' attention to the beauty of rare wild animals. There are very few of them left, and if people do not fight against poaching, then soon there will not be a single animal left, and, consequently, there will be no one to serve as kind for the artist. At this exhibition, Andy Warhol presented paintings of animals in non-trivial colors, which should emphasize the uniqueness of the representatives of the flora and fauna of our planet.
You can visit the exhibition at: Moscow, st. Vavilova, 57.
Hobbies are different
Not all art exhibitions in Moscow show the work of classics or contemporaries. Some expositions show collections of famous people. One of these is an exhibition of paintings collected by Vladimir Spivakov. Vladimir is a famous musician, head of the Moscow International House of Music. Passion for painting appeared in childhood, but he never managed to embark on an artistic path. Nevertheless, the love of painting remained with Spivakov forever. That's why he started collecting art.
Most of his collection includes works by Russian painters and graphic artists, but there are also works by foreign authors. The collection even has such rare specimens as samples of under-glass painting. This exhibition was organized through the efforts of Boris Mints. He got acquainted with a part of the collection of Vladimir Spivakov at the International House of Music. It was there that the musician transferred about 100 copies from his collection. Vladimir believes that art should not please onlyone man. Creativity in any of its manifestations must be shared with others. You can view the Spivakov collection at the Museum of Russian Impressionism at 15 Leningradsky Prospekt.

Treasures occupy a special place in the museum. They were found on the territory of Moscow and transferred to the museum. Each find has its own history. For example, the Spanish treasure, discovered in 1970 in Ipatiev Lane, was almost damaged by an excavator during the construction of the building. In the copper basin there were 3397 coins (about 75 kg of silver) in denominations of 2, 4, 8 reais, among them was a fake bronze coin
