"Mitya's Tales": the idea of creating a series

In 2011, Alexei Kiryushchenko and Vladimir Zelensky decided to shoot a spin-off of the series "Matchmakers". The central character of the new TV show was chosen one of the brightest representatives of the "Matchmakers" - the neighbor Mitya.

In the series about two completely different elderly couples who, by the will of fate, were forced to become relatives, Mityai became that secondary character who brought variety and some zest to the life of matchmakers. Naturally, according to the feedback from the audience, it became clear that the ratings of "Matchmakers" would not have been so high without Mityai.

The director reviewed the material, worked with the scriptwriters, and came up with little comedy stories that could make the viewer laugh. Domestic actors were invited to audition. "Mityaya's Tales" is a series that has brought together a good ensemble of professionals. Naturally, the main role is a drunken alcoholic with a good heart.and a sharp mind - played by actor Nikolai Dobrynin. The candidacy of the main character was not even discussed, because, in fact, the plot for the new series was written purely for this image.

Storyline

In the village of Kuchugury lives an incorrigible romantic and dreamer Mityai. He, like many residents of his small homeland, loves to drink, eat, chat with friends, and most importantly, tell a story. Mityai has a gift for getting into various unthinkable, sometimes delicate situations. To get out of the water dry, the main character came up with his own tactics - to captivate the interlocutor, to tell an incredible story from his life. Of course, many of his friends and listeners believe that he is an absolute liar, but he tells it so believably that you want to believe him. So, Mityai said that he was the first to fly to the moon, was Brezhnev's personal driver, served in the secret forces, tested secret weapons, was engaged to the daughter of a Mexican mafia and almost lost his life.

The series "Mitya's Tales" was broadcast on "Inter", had good viewing ratings. It helped that the film had only 19 episodes - the optimal amount of material so as not to bore the viewer. In addition, it was not the stories themselves that played a huge role, but the actors. "Mityai's Tales" received different reviews from the audience: someone called the series stupid, someone called it funny, the game of the main characters received a warm response from the audience.

Main roles

In the center of the plot is the hopeless romantic Mityai Bukhankin, or rather, he is a man who, having lived his life, understands that he could have lived it differently. He sincerelylives situations in which, according to him, he got. In the depths of his soul, he regrets that he never managed to leave his native town and reincarnate into someone else. That is why he tells all his stories in order to somehow diversify his boring life. Nikolai Dobrynin revealed his comedic and dramatic talent in the title role.

The viewer knows Nikolai from many domestic TV shows. He was a gangster, a killer, and a romantic, but, oddly enough, the role of Mitya became one of the most successful in his career. Today in the filmography of the actor 112 roles played in the cinema, and work in the theater. Nikolai is in demand and loved by the audience.

Nikolai Dobrynin made a huge contribution to the series, but secondary actors also played an important role. "Mityai's Tales" is a series in which each episode is a separate story, which is why a fairly large number of actors were involved in the filming.

Sub-characters

Nineteen actors took part in the film. In episodic roles, even the director, Alexei Kiryushchenko, was filmed. Since the film was produced by the Kvartal 95 studio, its actors were involved. "Tales of Mityai" for some of them became the first work in the cinema, and someone was already familiar with the mechanism of filming. Due to the rather modest budget of the picture, the same actor could appear in the film as different characters.

Recognized comedians Evgeny Koshevoy, Yuri Krapov, Yegor Krutogolov, Maxim Nelipa played variousheroes invented by Mitya. Viktor Andrienko reincarnated as the chairman of the Kuchegura collective farm. Alexander Ignatusha embodied the character of the local policeman Alekseevich. Female characters were embodied on the screen by Diana Malaya (she played Mityai's wife and all his fictitious lovers), Elena Skrypka (Mityai's mother), Olga Radchuk (head nurse).

The series turned out to be funny, ironic and funny thanks to the unique plot and characters, which Russian and Ukrainian actors skillfully embodied on the screens. "Mityai's Tales" is a film that was especially liked by the older generation and those who experienced rural life from their own experience.
