Valeria Zaklunnaya: the beginning of the journey

The star of Russian cinema was born in Volgograd, it happened in August 1942. Valeria Zaklunnaya was born into a family of immigrants from Ukraine. The girl was only a few months old when she and her mother were evacuated. For some time the family spent in the Saratov region. In 1950, Valeria's parents decided to return to their homeland, so she ended up in Kyiv.

Valeria Zaklunnaya decided on the choice of her life path far from immediately. As a child, an active and inquisitive girl had many hobbies. She attended various circles (for example, readers and home economics), was engaged inrhythmic gymnastics and volleyball. There was a time when I dreamed of becoming a pilot.

As a teenager, Valeria began to study at the theater studio. She liked to try on various images, but she did not seriously think about the acting profession, because she did not consider herself talented enough.

Study, theater

After graduating from school, Valeria Zaklunnaya entered the technical school of water transport. After studying, the girl worked for some time as a draftsman-designer. She might not have become an actress, if not for the will of fate. By chance, Valeria got to the audition, which was conducted by the visiting commission of the Moscow Art Theater School in search of talented students. She managed to impress the teachers, as a result, Zaklunnaya was accepted into this educational institution.

The aspiring actress returned to Kyiv in 1966. It is interesting that the girl had the opportunity to get a job at the Stanislavsky Theater or the Pushkin Theater, where she was persistently invited. However, she chose to leave for her beloved city and become an actress of the Lesya Ukrainka Theater, which in those years was under the direction of Yuri Lavrov.

Valeria made her debut in the play "Walking through the torments", embodying the image of Catherine. Over the years of work in the theater named after Lesya Ukrainka, she has become a real legend. Zaklunnaya equally successfully played both young and quivering young ladies and older ladies.

Film career

Actress Valeria Zaklunnaya first appeared on the set in 1967. She played the roleOksana in the film "Theater and fans". The most famous tapes with the participation of the star were released in the 70-80s. She starred in the films "Earthly Love", "Especially Important Mission", "Front by Front Line", and also embodied the image of Claudia in the cult TV series "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed".

The last time the actress was on the set in 1987. She embodied the image of Yanina Mikhailovna Shorokhova in the TV movie "A Case from Newspaper Practice".

Private life

Death

The talented actress died in October 2016, the cause of her death remained a mystery to fans, as relatives refused to make an official statement. Valeria was buried at the Baikove cemetery.
