Will Turner in "Pirates of the Caribbean" is one of the main characters. This brave and kind person has repeatedly shown what real courage, friendship and sincere feelings are. He plays a big role in the plot, and a detailed biography can be found in this article.
Childhood of the character
Will Turner was born into the family of a pirate named Bootstrap, as Jack Sparrow once told him about. In appearance, he succeeded in his father, not devoid of beauty and masculine charm. Throughout his early years, the boy thought that his father was sailing on a merchant ship and thus earning a living for the family. Will lived in England until the age of eleven, when his mother died. After this tragic event, the guy decided to find his father and went on a trip to the Caribbean. Some time later, Captain Barbossa attacks the ship and robs it. Will managed to escape thanks to his age, Elizabeth Swann. The girl noticed him among the wreckage that was thrown ashore. Since then, a close bond developed between them, which later grew into love.
Meet Jack
After Will Turner was rescuedgirl, he had to settle in Port Royale. There he became an apprentice blacksmith, earned a living and learned to fence well. One day, by coincidence, Jack Sparrow looks into his workshop. A young forge worker decided to fight him, because he hated pirates. He was not inferior in skill, but the cunning captain defeated him due to tricks. Jack said that in battle, honor is not important, only victory. In the story, Will learned the truth about his father from Sparrow. Jack told him that Bill Turner, nicknamed Bootstrap, was a pirate and was on his team. But one fine day, one of the team members - Barbossa - raised an uprising against the Sparrow and, together with other pirates, went for the cursed Aztec gold. The hunt ended with the whole team turning into the living dead.
To return to their original appearance, they had to sprinkle the Aztec gold with the blood of all the members of the team involved in the theft. But since Bill Turner had already gone to the next world, they needed his heir, in whom Billy's blood flows. By mistake, the pirates, led by Barbossa, captured Elizabeth Swann, as they considered her to be Bootstrap's daughter. To save his girlfriend, Will had to contact Jack Sparrow.
Pirate vicissitudes
Together with a new ally and a team recruited in Tortuga, Will Turner sets out to rescue Elizabeth. The man does not suspect that Jack is playing a double game. He seems to be helping Turner, but his main goal is to give Will Barbossa in exchange for his precious ship. TogetherCaptain Sparrow and the son of Bootstrap went to rescue Elizabeth, but things didn't go according to plan.
After some skirmishes, the curse was lifted, Barbossa was killed for betrayal by Sparrow, and the lovers were reunited again.
The second part begins with Elizabeth being imprisoned for having connections with pirates. Before her loved one, the authorities set a condition - her freedom in return for the magic compass that Jack Sparrow always carries with him. The cunning captain agrees to give the thing, but before that he sends Will to the Flying Dutchman as retribution for his promised soul to Davy Jones. Thanks to tricks, Turner manages to get hold of the key to the chest with the heart of the immortal captain. Then began an incredible fight for the opportunity to own the most powerful ship in the Caribbean between Norrington, Sparrow and Turner.
The end of the second and third film
Events at the end of the second picture of the saga end with Elizabeth chaining Jack Sparrow to the Black Pearl. The hoax succeeded thanks to the hard charm that Johnny Depp's character couldn't resist. The ship engulfs the Kraken and drags Davy Jones to its stash.
After a short meeting, the team decided to save the captain, and therefore all together went to the sorceress Tia Dalma. She said that she had to go to the ends of the world in order to get to the cherished place. The woman resurrects Hector Barbossa to lead the campaign.
The entire third film revolves around rescuing Jack. Will applied for thisa lot of effort. At the end of the tape, a huge battle broke out on pirate ships for the heart of Davy Jones. Captain Sparrow wanted to pierce it and take possession of the new ship, but at this time Turner was mortally wounded. Therefore, Jack decided to save his friend and pierced his heart with his hand. Now Turner must become the captain of the Flying Dutchman. All the time he must be at sea, and only once every ten years he has the right to go down to land in order to be near those who are dear to him. Captain Barbossa married Will and Elizabeth Swann. After that, the lovers are forced to leave for a long time.
