It was originally located in another building, but during the German occupation it was destroyed. This happened thanks to the activities of the chief director Mikhail Kulikovsky.

It is worth noting that in 2002 this Krasnodar theater became part of the largest creative association called Premiere. In the same year, a large-scale renovation was carried out here, because the theater building was built back in 1966.

It's hard to believe, but Samuil Yakovlevich Marshak himself stood at the origins of the creation of this children's theater in Krasnodar! It was thanks to the initiative of this poet that a children's town with a theater first appeared in the city. Then, in 1939, the first theater for children in the Krasnodar Territory was opened. Initially, the troupe did not have its own permanent home, the actors simply traveled around the Kuban land. This went on for many decades, only in 1972 the team of the Krasnodar Regional Puppet Theater moved into their permanent home, which today is located on Krasnaya Street.

The spectators of this theater note the colorfulness and brightness of the design of each production. And the children are simply delighted with the repertoire: they show such fairy tales as "Puss in Boots", "Geese Swans", "Reed Hat", "By the Pike's Command". It is worth noting that the theater has its own zest: performances full of philosophical reflections are staged here. They are intended for both adults and children. New puppet theater

In the mid-nineties of the last century, an incredibly cozy chamber hall of the New Puppet Theater was opened in the building that previously belonged to the Oktyabr cinema. It is designed for only 88 seats, but enjoys unprecedented popularity among young spectators. From the very opening of the theater, the director Anatoly Tuchkov, one of the most famous puppeteers in the world, became the artistic director. It is worth noting that many productions that werewere presented to the public immediately after the opening of the New Theater in Krasnodar, and are still being performed to this day. For example, the play "Doll, Actor and Fantasy" was staged by the actors more than 500 times! It should be noted that the repertoire includes an incredibly large number of performances suitable for children of all ages. Almost all productions are filled with original musical numbers.

One theater

Just six years ago, a theater appeared in Krasnodar, founded by artists from the Krasnodar Academic Drama Theatre. The activists dared to create a kind of experimental platform where the most daring creative ideas could be realized. No boundaries, only creative research! Initially, this theater was located in the Center for Contemporary Art, later moved to the fifth floor of the building, which previously housed a printing house. During the first year of the art venue's operation, six performances were staged here. What do the audience of this theater in Krasnodar like?
