Childhood

Since the creation of the group, the only constant, unchanging member was Peter Mamonov, whose photo is presented in the article. A little later, Pavel Khotin (keys) appeared in the group. Alexander Lipnitsky (bass) and Alexander Alexandrov (bassoon) joined the band already in 1984.

Life of the group "Sounds of Mu"

The group made its first "public appearance" in the spring of 1984, when Troitsky Artem and Sasha Lipnitsky organized a concert at the meeting of graduates in the Moscow special school No. 30, where Bortnichuk, Mamonov and Lipnitsky himself studied at one time. Since 1985, the group began its active concert activity. And in 1988, in the summer, the group released their "first brainchild" - "Simple Things", an album produced by Vasily Shumov, who is the leader of the Center group. Another album, called The Sounds of Mu, was recorded and released in London at Land Records in 1988 with Brian Eno, an English producer. Brian Eno worked with famous bands such as Roxy Music, Yutu, Seven Talking Hands. "Sounds of Mu" began touring. Tours in the UK and Europe were organized by Oral Records. The success of the group was colossal, the tour took place in Hungary, Germany, Italy, Poland, France. The musical group visited numerous festivals with tours. There were two US tours sponsored by Warner Bros.

Fracture

After returning to the Soviet Union, the team recorded another album in 1991 - "Transnadezhnost". Then they informed everyone about the breakup of the group. At the end of the 1990s, one person remained in it, so it became a solo project of Petr Nikolaevich Mamonov.

Alexander Lipnitsky is engaged in journalism, Khotin is experimenting in the avant-garde and progressive rock. Despite such events, the wife of Peter Mamonov, Olga Ivanovna Mamonova, always supported her husband, being the manager of all his solo projects. From 1991 to 1995, the hero of our article and A. Bortnichuk worked on a joint project - "Mamonov and Alexei". In 1994 Evgeny Kazantsev, the famous bassist, and Yuri Kistenev (Henk) were invited to the group, later Nadol Andrey took his place. Together they recorded the album Rough Sunset. In 1994, together with Vasya Shumov, Mamonov recorded "The Russians Sing". In the summer of 1995, while in the countryside, Peter finished working on the most difficult musical creation to perceive - the album "The Life of Amphibians as It Is". However, after recording the album, the group breaks up again, failing toimplement your program on stage. Over the entire musical career, the band, in all its compositions, has released only 20 albums of songs.

Theatrical stage

On one of the days of 1995 in the life of Pyotr Mamonov there comes a moment when he feels he is not needed by anyone. Lost interest in life. When the builder brother advised to buy a land plot in the village, Peter did not even consider this idea. However, having visited those places, having seen all the beauty of the nature of the Moscow region, he changed his mind and stayed. Secluded from all civilizational benefits, Mamonov lived in the village of Efanovo, in the Vereisky district near Moscow, and only occasionally came to the city. Before the adoption of Christianity at the age of 45, the musician often used strong alcoholic beverages and marijuana. However, with the adoption of faith, everything changed. The actor crossed out alcohol and drugs from life.

Onone of the performances in 2003, the actor had a heart attack. In a coma, Pyotr Mamonov ended up in the intensive care unit. Children Daniil, Ilya and Ivan almost lost their father.
