Born on November 24, 1970 in the city of Zheleznogorsk, located on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Our hero comes from a simple family. Father and mother received higher technical education. Lesha has an older brother, also a musician.
He grew up as an active and sociable boy. Nikitin Jr. attended a music school, where he learned to play the guitar. He wanted to become a famous artist. In 1988, Alexei Nikitin graduated from high school. The guy went to Krasnoyarsk, where he entered the Aerospace Academy the first time.
In 1991, Lesha and three other students created the 9th district group. Our hero was the leader of the group, soloist, author of texts and music. He played the guitar. The group included: Maxim Golubenko (bass), Shevkun Alexander (drums) and Radik Valetov (keys). A couple of years later, saxophonist Vitaly Akmurzin joined them.
Career development
The first album, District 9, was released in 1991. It was called "Don't Forget". Cassettes with songs and clips were distributed in Nikitin's hometown - Zheleznogorsk. Friends and classmates helped him in this.
In 1992 the second album of the group was recorded. Later, Alexei Nikitin combined these two records under the title "Don't Forget". The new group has acquired its own army of fans. The musicians went on a tour of our vast country.
In subsequent years, the band released 6 more albums. The composition has changed several times. Between 2002 and 2004, the group's activities were suspended. And all because of the fact that its leader was in a serious car accident. In 2005, District 9 began performing again. And again not for long. The work of the group was resumed in 2007-2008. Nikitin tried to regain the band's former popularity. But it seems that luck has turned its back on him. In 2013, the group ceased to exist.
Private life
Our hero has never had problems with lack of female attention. Both at school and at the university, girls favored a handsome and talented guy.
The first time Lesha got married when he was a little over 20 years old. This marriage did not last long. Unsettled life and groundless jealousy finally destroyed the relationship. One day Lesha packed his things and left the apartment. A few months later, the couple divorced.
A slender and pretty blonde Diana has become Alexei's new darling. The musician long and persistently looked afterher. As a result, the girl agreed to become his wife - first civil, then official.
Diana gave her husband moral support, accompanied him on tour. She was his guardian angel. The only thing that the girl could not prevent was Alexei's passion for alcohol.

On the morning of July 29, Alexey had a strong drink with one of the locals. On the way home, he stumbled and fell to his full height. He was taken to hospital No. 51 of Zheleznogorsk, to the surgical department. Nikitin's internal organs were beaten off. Doctors also revealed a fracture of two ribs in the patient.
In the afternoon, a musician from the first line-up of the group came to visit Alexei. He brought him juice, wished him a speedy recovery. Nikitin was still drunk. The man fell asleep only late at night.
In the morning (July 30) the musician came to his senses. He couldn't figure out where he was. Lesha went to the window. It seemed to him that his friends were waiting for him downstairs with beer. Our hero bravely stepped out the window. But his room was on the 3rd floor. It was not possible to save Nikitin.
On August 1, the funeral of the founder of the 9th District group took place in Zheleznogorsk. Close friends, neighbors, colleagues, as well as relatives and devoted fans came to see him off on his last journey. On this day, no one hid tears.
