Peacock is a wonderful bird with a magnificent fluffy colorful tail. Both children and adults dream of seeing it "live". How about drawing this bird? If you have never taken up pencils, we will teach you how to draw a peacock. You do not need special knowledge or skills, we will provide you with a step-by-step image that you will need to navigate.

How to draw a peacock step by step with a pencil

Drawing a peacock turns out to be easier than it looks. Even a child can cope with this if he follows our master class step by step. In the pictures for each stage you will see two colors: red and blue. Red is what you draw in this step and blue is what you already have on paper. So, let's get down to answering the question of how to draw a peacock!

Step 1. The very beginning

Let's start with the image of a bird's body. It is small, in the form of an irregular oval. Then draw a line - the basis for the neck, and at the end of it - a small circle - the head of the future peacock. Next, outline the lower border of the loose tail of the bird and casually draw two lines at the top - this is its upper border. Add linesfor future peacock legs.

Step 2. Still preparing

Around our oval, draw the base for the bottom row of colorful peacock feathers. Next - depict the bird's neck and one wing, as shown in the figure below. Make the legs a little clearer and draw the base for the second row of feathers. How to draw a peacock feather will be discussed later. For now, we are only drawing preparatory lines for the future bird.

Step 3rd. Half is over

So you're almost half way through and you practically know how to draw a peacock. However, the most interesting is yet to come! Now you only need to draw the eye, beak and cute curls on the peacock's head. It remains to add lines for the next row of feathers, and you can move on.

Step 4. Just a little bit

In this step, you need to draw a little: the lines for the last row of feathers and a few curls around the peacock's body, as shown in the picture below. Notice that the penultimate and last rows of feathers touch the lines that we drew in the very first step. That's what they were for!

Step 5. Important details

So, it's time to draw individual peacock feathers, which are also called "eyes". See how it is done in the picture below and repeat exactly the same. Draw a straight line, then a circle, whichyou need to "dress" in small feathers. Inside the circle you need to draw a couple of curls.

Step 6th. Admire the result

Your peacock bird is almost done! It remains to remove the unnecessary lines that we used in order to make it easier to draw and color the wonderful bird! If you don't know what colors to use, take a look at the first image in this article. This should be your bird in the end.
