Road to Glory

Vladimir Kush was born in the capital of Russia in 1965. At the age of seven, he disappeared into art school until the evening, where he studied with interest the works of famous Renaissance artists, the great impressionists and modern masters.

At the age of 17, the future artist entered the Stroganov Academy, but a year later he had to leave his studies and join the army. In the service, the young man continued to create and drew propaganda posters. Returning home, Vladimir Kush continued to study art, and in his spare time he painted paid portraits on the Arbat to help his family during a difficult period.

In 1987, the young talent became a regular participant in exhibitions organized by the Unionartists. At a show of paintings in the German city of Coburg, held in 1990, almost all of Vladimir's exhibited works were sold out. The artist decided not to lose his luck and went to Los Angeles.

Life abroad

In America, Vladimir Kush had a hard time. At first, he rented a small garage for work, but could not find a place to display his paintings. Vladimir made a living by painting portraits on the street and after a while he was able to buy a ticket to Hawaii, where he dreamed of going all his life.
