Yannis Marshal was born on November 11, 1989 in Grasse, France. He started dancing at the age of 15. The young man is the owner of several awards in the field of contemporary dance. He participated in the musical Les Dix Commandements, and in 2014 became a finalist in the show Britain's Got Talent, which brought him worldwide fame. At the moment, Janis collaborates with a large number of television programs and dance shows as a choreographer, gives master classes around the world.

The main dance style of Janis is defined as Street jazz, sometimes his style of performance is described as “waking”, but the dancer himself is against any strict limits and restrictions. A distinctive feature of the direction he teaches is the dance of men in heels.
