Other Marine movies tell of the hardships of soldiers before they even go to war. This training camp for preparing recruits turned out to be a creepy place. Under the guidance of a strict but experienced Sergeant Hartman, the guys are subjected to psychological pressure every day, exhausting forced marches and spend several hours at the shooting ranges. The problem is that not everyone can withstand such tests.
In general, service is not easy for recruits. Someone will eventually break, and someone will become stronger. Maybeit seems that Sergeant Hartman is too strict with his charges. That, by creating tough conditions, he makes cold-blooded killers out of ordinary guys. But for now, only he understands that the training will end soon, and the guys will have to face all the horrors of a real war.
