Alexander Titel is the artistic director of the opera company. Since 1980 he has served in the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre. There he was the chief director. In the theater named after K. S. Stanislavsky and V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, he has been the chief director and artistic director of the opera troupe since 1991. He owns such productions as Betrothal in a Monastery by Sergei Sergeevich Prokofiev, The Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini, The Tales of Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach, The Bat by Johann Strauss and others. Also A. Titel is a professor at GITIS, teaches at the Faculty of Musical Theater.

Igor Zelensky is the artistic director of the ballet troupe. He graduated from the choreographic school in Tbilisi. After that he served at the Mariinsky Theater, was the prime minister. Since 1990, he has performed leading roles in the ballets of the Berlin Deutsche Oper. Since 1992, Igor has been the premier of the City Ballet in New York.
