History of Creation
Eruption was born back in 1969. It was founded by natives of the West Indies living in the UK. The first singles brought the guys popularity, and in 1975 they were named "the best young soul group in England." However, the collaboration with Frank Farian, who worked with BONEY M., brought them worldwide fame.
Until 1979, the vocalist was Precious Wilson, who chose her own path and made a solo career under the clear guidance of the same producer and Hansa International. Eruption, meanwhile, continued their creative activity, and Kim Davis soon joined them. However, after recording the album Fight Fight Fight, released in 1980, the soloist tragically died in a car accident. No place is empty, and she was replaced by Jane James, who had a beautiful voice.
Style
The music genre of Eruption was very different from the popular disco at that time. repertoire aboundscompositions in the style of soul, funk and jazz-rock, which may have influenced the perception of their work by the general public. Career Precious Wilson
Eruption's solo work is a real gift for fans of the soul genre. She released beautiful full-length albums:

- All Colored In Love – 1982;
- Funky Fingers Medley - 1984.
In addition, her 1983 LP - Aerobic Fitness Dancin was distributed and sold over a million copies. When the contract with Hansa International expired, Preches returned home and began working with BMG. In 1985, Wilson recorded the soundtrack for the film Jewel of the Nile, starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. And in 1989, the singer covered Donna Summer's famous hit called I Feel Love, which, according to critics, sounds better than the original.
Along with this, Precious Wilson worked with Sir Elton John on his brainchild called Duets. In the 90s, the singer was seen in the musical Blues In The Night, in which she sang one ofleading parties.
In 1994, fans were surprised by a big surprise - a compilation album by Eraption called ERUPTION feat Precious Wilson, for which old friends united and re-recorded the best hits. Today, Preshes successfully gives concerts around the world, performing singles from the times of Farian. And Eruption, in turn, successfully flash on TV and perform in various clubs.
