History of the theater

The Noginsky Theater was opened in 1930. It was then that the director N. M. Efimov-Stepnyak united professional and talented amateur artists into one troupe of actors. The theater continued to operate even during the war of 1941-1945. A propaganda team was created from the actors, which traveled to hospitals and fronts in order to raise the morale of the fighters with the help of art.

In the 50s of the 20th century, the Noginsky Theater became a major cultural center of the Moscow region. The geography of his tour has become wider. At various times, such people as F. G. Sakalis, B. G. Roshchin, V. K. Danilov, I. M. Tumanov and many others worked as the main directors in the theater.

The 60s were very difficult years. Artists began to leave the theater. Only 15 actors remained in the troupe. But the Noginsky Theater survived. In the 70s, the troupe grew again. Graduates of the Shchepkinsky and Vakhtangov schools, as well as GITIS and the Moscow Art Theater School came to work in the theater.

In the 80s, the Noginsk drama was awarded a diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Council, became a laureateKomsomol Prizes. The theater took part in festivals several times and became a laureate.

In 2005, on the 60th anniversary, the troupe presented the audience with a performance called "The Savelyevs". The production is dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland. It tells about three generations belonging to the same family. Representatives of the older generation went through the Great Patriotic War, the second - through Afghanistan, and the younger - through Chechnya. The play was a huge success and won an award.

Glory to the theater is brought not only by excellent productions, but also, mainly, by its actors. Among them are two people's artists and ten honored ones. Also, don't underestimate the contribution made by the people who create the sets and costumes.

The post of director today is Yuri Pedenko.

In July 2012, the Noginsk drama was renamed. Now it is the Moscow Regional Drama and Comedy Theatre.

In 2015, on Victory Day, the Noginsky Theater presented the audience with the premiere of a new performance based on the story by Vasil Bykov "Alpine Ballad". The performance was directed by Vera Annenkova. The production tells about a fascist camp located near the Alps. The action takes place during the Great Patriotic War. Prisoner Ivan Tereshka managed to escape from the concentration camp. But the Germans with dogs pursued him. In the forest, he met a black-eyed young Italian woman, Giulia. She was an extra ballast for the fugitive, but, nevertheless, he did not leave the girl alone in the forest. Then they went together and helped each other. They managed to run very far. Julia told Ivan that she was from a we althy family, but ran away from her parents for the sake of her beloved, who was a communist. She believed that the Soviet Union was a fabulous country where everyone was happy. Ivan tried to convince her of this, but she did not want to listen to anything. Finally, the fugitives reached a strawberry field, where they were able to eat berries. Love broke out between Ivan and Julia. But they managed to spend only a day in this strawberry meadow. The Nazis overtook them. Ivan managed to throw Julia into the abyss, into a snowdrift. Thus, he saved her life. She was rescued by the partisans. Ivan himself was bitten by German dogs. Many years later, Julia wrote to Ivan's family that he had a son, Giovanni. Julia loved Ivan all her life and remembered, but she only regretted that she did not have any of his photographs.
