For the first time, the cartoon "Valley of the Ferns" was released a little over 20 years ago. He immediately fell in love with the viewer, largely due to his concept. To be more precise, this is not a cartoon, but a series of feature films that tell about the life of the same heroine - the fabulous forest fairy Krista. The antagonist hero is the evil spirit Heskus.

The decision of the authors of the cartoon to create the latter in the form of an incomprehensible gray-black substance is very interesting. This appearance of a negative character is very symbolic. The main essence of Hescus is to bring suffering and destruction. However, in order to make it more understandable for children, throughout the main part of the cartoon it looks like a smoky cloud with clearly drawn hands and body. Thus, we can say that Heskus is the personification of environmental pollution. "Valley of Ferns" - a cartoon about the need to protect nature.

It is suitable for children of all ages. For those who are younger, the main thing is a sharp plot, colorful drawings, a fabulous plot. This is the cartoon "Valley of Ferns". The trailer in general terms conveys the style andplot of the film. Older children can already understand the background of the cartoon: the main harm to nature is caused by man. It is no coincidence that Heskus in the cartoon constantly praises human achievements that contribute to environmental pollution and the destruction of nature.

Let's dwell on the two parts of the cartoon, with which the authors have already pleased the audience.

1. "Valley of the Ferns: The Last Rainforest". In this first cartoon, the fabulous inhabitants of the rainforest lock an evil spirit in one of the trees. But it was not there: people appeared and began to cut down all the vegetation, not suspecting that they could release evil that would destroy all life. People ruthlessly uproot centuries-old trees that reliably protected animals. They do all this to the delight of Hescus, who can't wait to pollute and consume everything around.

2. "Valley of the Ferns 2: Magical Rescue". Hescus is no longer in this cartoon. The heroes face another problem: poaching. Bad people stole many animals into their nets, but the animals, taking advantage of a good moment, ran away. Poachers start a fire, as a result of which many forest dwellers have suffered greatly. Tropical elves help animals out of trouble, and the fairy Krista, endowed with the power of healing, saves touching creatures. The inhabitants of the forest have to go to the city to save their home. Their main problem is that they never left the limits of their native valley. At the beginning of the cartoon, we see a real idyll: beautiful, abundanta valley where harmony reigns between all the inhabitants.
