Another English series about the 19th century, which tells about the everyday life of the inhabitants of the small village of Lark Rise and the inhabitants of the we althy town of Candleford, located next door. The main character of the story, a young girl named Laura, finds a job at the city post office and moves from her native village. Her life in a new place is immediately filled with various events and acquaintances with interesting people.
