Humor is a cultural phenomenon. The ability to make people laugh is a difficult profession, not everyone will allow you to make fun of yourself. Women among comedians can generally be counted on one hand: Maria Mironova, Klara Novikova, Elena Vorobey, Natalya Korosteleva. The last one in this series is special: she is the only woman in Russia who still has the status of a satirical writer.

Where the legs grow from

The future talented comedian Natalya Korosteleva was born in 1973 in Alma-Ata. Her mother worked as the director of the Republican Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren. The creative development of the child began with diapers. In a humorous autobiography, Natalya admitted that her dramatic talent was discovered in her kindergarten and had selfish motives: for a good performance, she was fed with sweets.

Natalya Korosteleva, whose biography was filled with piano sounds, theater lessons, ballet steps, was bathed in creative inspiration. Five ancient Greek muses tried to gain her favor: Calliopetaught to sing, Terpsichore - to dance, Euterpe - to play music, Melpomene and Thalia - to cry and laugh on the stage. There was no question of where to go to study, right after school she became a student at the Institute of Culture in St. Petersburg, the Faculty of Dramatic Art, the Variety Department, the class of Boris Voitsekhovsky.

During training, Leningrad became St. Petersburg, the alma mater was renamed the Academy of Culture, which Korosteleyeva graduated from in 1995. The first place of work after receiving a diploma was a soloist of the St. Petersburg Music Hall. The girl loved to sing and did it well, but vocals did not represent the meaning of life. In six months, she will change fate dramatically.

Formative period

At 22, Natalya Sergeevna Korosteleva arrives in Moscow, settles in the hostel of the Gnessin Musical Institute. Workshop of young authors Yevgeny Petrosyan - her first attempts at writing. She recalls with a smile how the first texts for pop singers were born to the accompaniment of tambourines and trombones. Howpop pranksters accepted and appreciated her talent? After Petrosyan, Svyatoslav Yeshchenko became famous on Korosteleva's opuses ("Karas", "New Russians"). Her texts are heard from the stage performed by Sergey Drobotenko, Igor Mamenko, Elena Stepanenko, Clara Novikova. Since 1997, she has been writing numbers for Petrosyan's performances. In 1998, cooperation with television begins, Korosteleva is the screenwriter of "Full House", "Crooked Mirror".

Her heroines try to do fitness and study the Kamasutra, spit on Balzac's age and choose a husband with the help of a striped traffic cop's wand.

She brings to light those female prejudices and fears that can only be fought with laughter. And it completely refutes the thesis about the incompatibility of the concepts of a woman and a satirist writer. She considers Zhvanetsky and Kartseva her teachers, the artist learned from them the attitude to work, the creative approach to the role.

At the same time, Natalia did not go along with the modern kitsch practiced by the Comedy Club, she has her own taboos in humor. She does not bring vulgarity, obscene language onto the stage, considering it an art to use language in the slippery moments of Aesops, and notmat. There is no need to make a fool out of the viewer or consider him as such - this is the main rule of the artist. She is sure that talent is not a gift, but a purpose and service to those who listen to you.

Family Creative Union

Since 2003, Natalia Korosteleva has been in close relationship with Yuri Khvostov. Together they work on miniatures, participate in humorous shows, give concerts and hold corporate parties. Natalia and Yuri are the parents of the charming Savely. The family went through a very difficult situation: at the age of four, the boy was diagnosed with acute leukemia. Urgent medical care was expensive, but the creative family had many friends, fans and admirers, they helped save the baby's life.

Concerts of a married couple are always a bright show, cheerful, kind, witty, about everything that excites Russians today. After the Winter Olympics, an interview with a skier appears in the repertoire, the traffic police reform gave birth to a woman traffic inspector on stage - relevance is inherent in all her works.
