Moreover, Xavier developed special goggles for the young hero, which helped him to contain the destructive power of the energy beams that strove to escape from his eyes. Scott never quite figured out how to control his ability. However, the device made by the teacher made him feel more confident.
Professor Xavier entrusted the hero, now called Cyclops, to manage a team of young mutants. After years of intense training, this mutant has become a true combat tactician and has begun to show the makings of an outstanding strategist.

Scott Summers ("X-Men") is a mutant who is subject to destruction with the help of powerful energy beams that are projected from his eyes. Character drawssupernatural power from sunlight. The hero acquired his nickname Cyclops due to the need to use monolithic glasses made from ruby quartz. The latter prevent Summers from incinerating everything he sees.
Cyclops is immune to his own unique ability. His body is surrounded by a natural psionic field that safely absorbs the destructive beams fired from his eyes. In battle, the character uses a device to change the intensity of their own energy weapons.

Despite his status as a strict and sullen loner, Cyclops had several affairs with other possessors of extraordinary abilities. Most of his relationship with the heroines of the X-Men universe ended in failure.
According to the plot of the film franchise, Scott Summers was married to Jean Grey, who had the strongest telepathic gift. Cyclops later realized that his affection for this woman was inspired. Scott decided to leave Jean and return to the superhero team. Subsequently, Jean Gray was killed by a hero named Magneto, which made Cyclops feel guilty for not being able to protect her.
