Mikhail Ozerov: from "Circus" to theater

"Accidents are not accidental" - says the proverb, which can be confidently attributed to Mikhail Ozerov. Could the artist have known that the next casting for the vocal competition would allow talking about him not only as a member of the KVN team, but also as a finalist of the Voice project, and the leading soloist of the Alexander Gradsky Theater.

Biography

Mikhail Ozerov was born in the city of Ozersk, Chelyabinsk region. On June 15, 2017, he celebrated his 36th birthday. The real name of the artist is Ivanov, he took the pseudonym "Ozerov" when he took up creative activity.

Mikhail's mom and dad are architects, but they always loved to sing and play music. Records were played in the house, my mother sang, and my father played the guitar. In the musical atmosphere of Ozerov, he himself became interested in music.

Study was very difficult, especially the exact sciences, and the straightforward nature also brought constant disagreements with teachers. Mikhail Ozerov changes several schools. In parallel with the secondary school, the guy goes to the music school, where he learns to play the guitar and piano.

Student years

After school, Mikhail Ozerov chooses a creative path and enters the Ural State Conservatory. M. P. Mussorgsky, to the faculty of choralconducting.

Moving to Yekaterinburg was marked by the beginning of an independent life away from home. Mikhail Ozerov joins the vocal jazz quintet Crystal Chorus at the Ural Variety Theatre. The young man participates in international creative competitions, records a quintet album.

The 2008 crisis affected the existence of the creative team, the group broke up, and Ozerov returned to Ozersk, where he got a job as a vocal teacher at his native music college.

Life in Moscow

Five years later, Ozerov decides to leave for Moscow, but the capital does not throw opportunities and success at his feet. The artist does not neglect the work of an assembler of metal structures, work in karaoke and street performances. His track record is replenished with television projects such as "Organization of Certain Nations", "Paradise". A special place in the artist's biography was occupied by participation in the KVN team "Team of the Great Moscow State Circus".

Mikhail Ozerov performs with the team, where he is mainly responsible for the musical and vocal content of the national team program. The team often takes pride of place. In 2016, at the festival "Voicing KiViN", the team, together with Ozerov, took the prize "Big KiViN in the dark". Mikhail's partners were artists who are now successfully participating in other humorous and entertainment programs.

Project "Voice"

The turning point in the life of Mikhail Ozerov was the most ordinary and familiar tosinger casting. Participants were selected for the project "Voice" for the fourth adult season. "Blind auditions" touched the heart of one of the mentors - Alexander Gradsky. Mikhail Ozerov got into the team with him.

An interesting fact happened on the set: the fact is that the performer who sang Billy Joel's qualifying hit "Honesty" was considered a relative of another celebrity - commentator Nikolai Ozerov.

Apparently, the talented possession of the voice of one and another person, moreover, with the same last name, gave rise to such an assumption. But, as Ozerov himself explained, it was the “615th question” about the famous commentator, which did not result in an affirmative answer.

Mikhail Ozerov, during his work in the project, took stages by stage. Alina Perova, Diana Savelyeva, Emil Kadyrov, Elena Romanova, competing with Ozerov, left the project in different rounds. Michael ended up in the final with Hieromonk Photius. The audience vote determined the winner Photiy, and Ozerov got the second place.

Now Mikhail continues to work with Alexander Gradsky in his theater "Gradsky Hall". He played one of the main roles in the play "Reflection", participated in a concert dedicated to the birthday of John Lennon. The artist is simultaneously writing his debut solo album.

Mikhail was married, he has a son from his first marriage. Now she is in a civil relationship with a girl, Olga.
