Carol Tiggs is a unique Nagual woman from Carlos Castaneda's squad. Her disappearance shortly after the death of Carlos Castaneda in 1998 shocked many. However, she unexpectedly returned and assumed the position of President of the Castaneda Corporation.

Biography

Real name is Kathleen Adair Pohlman. The girl was born on November 24, 1947 at 6:32 am in the Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. She is the first child born to Harriet Whitbeck Polman and Max Edward Polman. Below is a photo of Carol Tiggs.

Carol is one of three women in Carlos Castaneda's inner circle, whom he called "Witches" and were don Juan's disciples. Carol is said to be a Nagual woman, an important figure in Castaneda's books. Carol Tiggs first appeared in The Eagle's Gift, published in 1981.

It is not clear when Carol first met Castaneda, but on October 3, 1972, as Kathleen Adair Pohlman, she applied to change her name to Elizabeth Austin.

It is worth noting that all the women involved in Castaneda have officially changed their name at least once.

Meet Don Juan

According to lecture notes recorded in April 1995, Carol Tiggs allegedly first encountered don Juan in Mexico City in late 1966 or 1967 at the age of 19. This entry differs from that given in Castaneda's book "The Gift of the Eagle". In 1973, Carol left with don Juan or shortly after (the events differ depending on which book you read, Gift of the Eagle or The Art of Dreaming).

The top level of Castaneda's clan are himself and his four women - Carol Tiggs, Florinda Donner-Grau, Taisha Abelar and Nuri Alexander. Followed by women teaching Tensegrity through workshops and videos. Next are the men who are also Tensegrity instructors and simply members of the Cleargreen Corporation.

Richard Jennings, who was invited to Castaneda's private Sunday sessions and actively participated in the work of the association, believes that the group of close associates of Castaneda in the late 1970s numbered less than two dozen people. The key event at the time was reportedly the suspension of Carol Tiggs. Shortly after joining the group, she tried to break away. She studied at the California College of Acupuncture, married a fellow student.

Carol was reunited with Castaneda, most likely in the fall of 1985 at a lecture at the Bookstore held in Santa Monica. On April 5, 1988, Carol Tiggs again applied for a name change, this time changing it to Mooney Alexander. The change officially went into effect on May 20, 1988year.

In 1993, HarperCollins published Castaneda's The Art of Dreaming. The Nagual woman played an important role in this work. She reportedly rescues Castaneda from the "foggy, yellowish world" where he supposedly went to rescue the Blue Scout, nicknamed Patricia Partin.

September 29, 1993, Carlos "Aranha" married "Carol Mooney Tiggs Alexander" in Las Vegas. The marriage certificate states that this is Carol's first marriage. But the data indicated in the document does not correspond to the primary data in her biography. Carol indicated that she was born on November 24, 1957 in Arizona to John Michael Alexander and Carol Tiggs.

Death

On April 27, 1998, the death certificate of Carlos Castaneda was signed. It is reported that his death occurred at 3 am. The death was kept secret until June 19, 1998, when a Los Angeles Times obituary announcing Castaneda's death appeared on the front page. The next day, an obituary in the New York Times reported that Castaneda's adopted son was responsible to the public for his stepfather's death. On August 2, 1998, Carol spoke at a seminar in Ontario. Since then, the girl has not been seen in public.

Many, reading Castaneda's books, did not even know that he had long been gone from us. There is a death certificate stating that he died of liver cancer. After his death, the women from his group ceased to appear at the seminars he founded: Florinda Donner-Grau, Taisha Abelar, and the Nagual woman Carol Tiggs.

In early editions, theseno names were mentioned. The Castaneda group initially included seven Indians - three guys and four girls. But later editions mention new women. First it was the Nagual woman, then Taisha and Florinda.

It cannot be said that, in the early nineties, the books of Taisha and Florinda were published, but they did not focus on the connection with Castaneda, except for attending seminars held in America, but they described learning from don Juan.

Change of names

Getting to the truth is almost impossible. The Castaneda clan is characterized by frequent name changes and many marriages. This, most likely, was done on purpose to confuse history and erase genuine data. For example, it still remains a mystery in which year Castaneda was born - in 1925, 1926, 1931 or 1946.

Many believe that Castaneda Cleargreen's company was created primarily to generate large amounts of money, and not to pass on the magical knowledge that Carol Tiggs taught. By the way, it was with her appearance that the company was formed. At the same time, Taisha and Florinda's books became popular.

Interesting data

From 1996, Carlos and his women began to talk about leaving, which should happen soon. A few days before his death, Castaneda rewrites his will. He gives all his funds to the Eagle Foundation, which he created the day before. The will specifically stipulates that the money will be paid only to those who survive this deplorableevent. As a result, a few days before the "death" something is taken away from Castaneda's house by vans, and then a certificate of his death appears.

At the same time, Taisha and Florinda disappear at the same time, and Carol and Nuri - a little later. It is not known whether this was a real death or a transition to another world in accordance with don Juan's idea. No one saw the body of Castaneda, except for the person who issued the death certificate, of course. However, many believe that the certificate is a fake, since it was issued in Mexico, where you can issue almost any document for a certain amount of money. But these are just arguments. We should not rule out the possibility that we have yet to see the return of Cascaneda.

In 2010 it became known that Carol Tiggs had returned. She took over as President of the Cleargreen Corporation. In 2015, there were rumors that Carol Tiggs was moving to Russia.
