Blade's works are the largest by this author in the genre of heroic fiction. It is known that in the forties he was the publisher of a magazine about supernatural stories. He died in 1986.

Born in 1931. He wrote only one book about Blade in 1979, Dimensions of Horror. He has his own novels, and this work was just an episode. He collaborates with various writers, quite large ones, including Michael Moorcock. Produces various fiction-themed works, including time travel and so on.
Manning Lee Stokes
Was born in 1911 in the state of Missouri, the city of St. Louis. He had many other pseudonyms, such as Ken Stanton. Back in 1945, he began writing a novel dedicated to the criminal world. He also wrote a famous series called "Nick Carter", whose name he used as a pseudonym.
Mikhail Akhmanov
Mikhail accidentally bought 2 books about Richard Blade, was very surprised and began to translate, then 2novels were offered to a publishing house called "North-West". Thus, the novels went on sale.
Mikhail went to look for other works, found some in St. Petersburg, some in America. When he talked to the fans of the cycle, it turned out that the adventures of Richard Blade were published only once, and it is quite difficult to find them. No one could say exactly how many books it contained. Finally, two more novels were found, which Mikhail translated with his friends.
One of the publishing houses offered Mikhail to release the novels in a multi-volume edition, so that there would be three novels in one volume. However, Mikhail knew that he had 8 books and no more. Then the publisher suggested that he write these novels himself. Thus, Mikhail began to print works himself, and other St. Petersburg authors were also involved in writing.
Publishing house "North-West" in 1997 offered to release a large multi-volume and contacted the heir of Lyle Angela, concluded an agreement with him, 25 volumes were printed.
Mikhail says that he has written about 20 works, which he is very happy about, as he has accumulated considerable experience.
