People love to tickle their nerves, which is why horror films, psychological thrillers and disaster films are made. A separate category of films are films with scenes of violence and cruelty. Many of them leave a heavy impression and may shock the unprepared or faint of heart viewer.

Cargo 200

Patriotic drama by Alexei Balabanov depicts the end of the Soviet era and the harsh realities of a provincial town of that time. A few days after the premiere in 2007, many cinemas stopped showing the picture. Audiences and film critics called the film vile and scandalous. Indeed, there are many shocking scenes in the script of the film, and the gloomy atmosphere only adds to the realism. Despite this, the project was nominated many times for awards, and even won the Guild of Film Critics and Film Critics Award and several other awards.

American History X

In 1998, director Tony Kay's bold project American History X was released. This is a story about a gang of American neo-Nazis whose leaderplayed by Edward Norton. The film with scenes of violence, cruelty and reprisals reflects, as conceived by the screenwriter, the reality of the 80s. Several religious and national scandals were associated with the filming of American History X, the movie is really controversial, shocking and dramatic.

Serbian Film

Shocking with naturalistic scenes of violence and murders, the film was banned in more than 60 countries after its release. In America, the film project still came out, but it was cut by 20 minutes. Director Srdjan Spasojevic has created a truly provocative picture that has earned fame as the scariest film in the history of mankind. Critics rated the movie as brilliant, disgusting and dreary. The story of a hysterical porn artist who arrives for a shoot and ends up in a waking nightmare should not be watched by anyone with weak nerves.

Constructor red

Pseudo-documentary film directed by Russian director Andrey I based on the novel The Magic Mountain. In the first part of the film, a video sequence in red tones is shown to a female voice reading chapters from the Magic Mountain. This is an artistic interpretation of the story of a deceased soldier and his thoughts. The second part of the project is edited from footage of Soviet Siamese twins, surgical operations and clippings from medical films. Everyone who happened to watch this non-standard picture noted an oppressive feeling and not leaving sticky fear throughout the film.
