His autobiographical story "Bury me behind the plinth" was a great success with readers and was translated into several languages. In 2009, a film was made on it, but Pavel did not take part in its creation. Another no less famous work of the writer is The Chronicles of Gouging. The author himself asks not to consider this novel autobiographical.

The film "On the Game" was released in 2009 and immediately attracted the attention of the younger generation. Sanaev knew what the audience aged 14 to 30 was interested in. The picture was shot based on the book by Alexander Chubaryan "Games of Life". The director approached the shooting with great responsibility and kept the main storyline. He invited both famous and novice actors to play roles in his film. "On the game", as they say, fired andlaunched the career of young artists.

Storyline

Five best friends take part in an esports tournament. They have been playing for a long time, and the victory went to them deservedly. Along with gifts, they receive special discs that they will have to test in the near future. Each of them launches a game on a computer at home and spends some time in virtual reality, developing their character. The next morning, all five discover the abilities of their yesterday's game heroes. The ability to handle military weapons, professional driving skills, mastery of martial arts - all this went to friends without any effort.

A random skirmish in a cafe leads to big problems with a crime boss named Khyzyr. The guys have to rescue their friend Maxim from captivity. To do this, they were forced to kill all the bandits, including their leader. Such incidents attract the attention of the authorities, and the guys are forced to work for the FSB with the help of blackmail. However, the tasks received from Colonel Lebedev seem too cruel to friends.

They soon realize that they have fallen into a trap and are actually working for criminals. This did not bother one of the guys, and during the next operation he betrayed his friends. As a result, one of them died, the rest manage to escape. The film "On the Game 2" in 2009 was already scheduled for release and became one of the most anticipated by the audience poll.

The film was shot in Nizhny Novgorod, which is easy to see from some panoramas and buildings. Scenes with a paintball game and Khyzyr's hangar were filmed in Moscow. Pavel Priluchny - Ruslan Avdeev (Doctor)

The young actor got a controversial role. He valued friendship with the guys and was the first to come to the rescue. However, by the middle of the film, he had a great desire to get rich. The first easy money and the opportunity to earn it dishonestly turned the guy's head. He is ready to commit betrayal for the sake of his own material well-being.

The role of Doc went to Pavel Priluchny, who was able to embody on the screen all the duality of the nature of this character. For the actor, this was the first notable role in a feature film. According to the script, he has to walk around with a tattoo on his neck, and the make-up artists drew the same drawing for him every time. In the second part, they did not have to do this - Pavel made an identical tattoo.

Marina Petrenko – Rita Smirnova

The girl completely turned her career around by agreeing to star in Pavel Sanaev's film. Prior to that, she had several roles in Ukrainian films that did not bring her fame. It is especially worth noting that at the age of 14 she played Lyuba Kochubey in the scandalous film Prayer for Hetman Mazepa. This tape was banned from showing in Russia because of its evaluation at the Berlin Film Festival. The painting was labeled as"inciting ethnic hatred" and "a film for sexual minorities."

"On the Game" became a happy ticket for the actress - she was invited to shoot in popular TV shows. Soon all of Russia and Ukraine knew her name. In both parts of the film, she played the female lead.

Sergey Chirkov - Dmitry Orlov (Vampire)

The conscience of a group of friends, he could not come to terms with Doc's decision and received a strong blow from a comrade for it. Luckily, he managed to regain consciousness and escape in the final scene.

Tikhon Zhiznevsky - Konstantin Long

The young actor got the most tragic role. His hero dies from blood loss. He was seriously injured in the final battle with the bandits. In the film, Tikhon did not have to enter the image - the character seemed to be written for him. The clumsy and too honest guy fit perfectly into the picture.

Until 2009, Tikhon managed to act in two films, preferring to devote all his time to playing on the theater stage. After the On the Game project, he received several offers and played the lead role in the film Seven Feetunder the keel.
