S. Makovetsky, whose filmography began to replenish with the first films in 1981, has starred in many good films over the 30 years of his career. Makovetsky was born in Kyiv in 1958. He was raised by a single mother. Since childhood, Sergei Vasilyevich has been accustomed to speaking Ukrainian, and he speaks it well to this day.

Sergei Makovetsky in his youth did not dream of an acting career. By chance, one day he was invited to play the role of Schastlivtsev in a school production of Ostrovsky's play "The Forest". Private life

Sergei Makovetsky married only once to a girl named Elena. Their marriage continues to this day. The actor met his future wife in Odessa when he was filming the film "I am the son of working people." When Makovetsky and Elena got married, he took custody of her son, but Sergei never had children of his own.
