Vladimir Natanovich Vinokur was born on March 31, 1948 in the city of Kursk. Coming from a simple family, he was very smart from an early age. His mother taught him, and his father worked at a construction site. Vladimir's older brother was a businessman.

From an early age, Volodya was fond of singing. At first he performed at home on holidays, sang for himself and alone. Later, during his school years, he was engaged in amateur performances in a circle, not forgetting about singing. At the age of 14, he goes on vacation to the famous summer camp "Artek". There, Vladimir takes part in an international competition, where he performs the Buchenwald alarm. Young Vinokur wins it. Student years

Young Vladimir was very drawn to the stage, but at the insistence of his parents, he enters a construction college. In parallel, he enrolls in the evening department of the music school, choosing the conductor-choir department. Having not yet received a secondary education, Vladimir decides to try his hand at the entrance exams at GITIS. The first three examination rounds were easy for Vinokur, but it soon became clear that the young man had no documents, and he was denied admission.

After graduating in 1967, a young man is drafted into the army, where he is enrolled in a song and dance ensemble. Simultaneously with the performance of military duties, Vladimir tries himself as an entertainer, soloist, sings in the choir. During the service, the ensemble often traveled to perform in hospitals. Two years later, while in the military, Vinokur decided to try again to apply for admission to GITIS, and this time he succeeded. He was accepted.

Stage work

Since 1973, Vladimir has been working in the circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. A little later, he receives an invitation from the director of the Moscow Operetta Theater Anisimov G. P., where Vinokur has been working for two years. In 1975, having received the recommendation of the pianist M. Bank, hegets into the famous at that time ensemble "Gems", where he performs with parodies of recognizable personalities, singers and actors. Vladimir Vinokur, whose parodies became more and more famous and loved, understands that his career began to grow rapidly. Two years later, Vinokur becomes a laureate of the All-Russian Competition of Variety Artists, where he performs with the famous monologue about foreman Kovalchuk, authored by Leonid Yakubovich. Vladimir Vinokur, whose biography began rather modestly, in 1984 received the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and five years later, in 1989 - People's Artist of the RSFSR. And in 2015, Anastasia gave birth to a son, Fedor, and Vladimir Natanovich finally became a grandfather.

Friendship

Vladimir's close friend and colleague has been Lev Leshchenko for a long time. Their acquaintance took place more than thirty years ago. After a while, they created a joint issue "Levchik and Vovchik", the author of which is Arkady Khait.
