Among the huge and ever-increasing flow of artists around the world, it is very difficult to choose a few of the most prominent. Today, the landscape is a genre in demand and popular among artists, many young talented painters find their calling in it.

Watercolor has found the perfect way to express themselves, artists such as Laurent Parcelier, who creates photorealistic landscapes of places that impress him, and Eric Laurent, whose colors seem to run away from the artist and create a picture themselves, spilling unevenly on paper.

Incredibly vivid landscapes are created by Chinese oil painter Hong Leung; Acrylic paints for creating surreal views of nature are preferred by American Jeremy Miranda. Among non-traditional materials, noteworthy are graphite and solvent, which Elizabeth Patterson uses to create her unique "rainy landscapes".
