Whisper. Timid breath …”- this is one of the most famous poems by A. Fet, dedicated to his beloved - Maria Lazich, which tells about the meeting of lovers in the garden. The work is small, only twelve lines, but within such a narrow framework, the author managed to convey a whole storm of emotions and feelings, experiences and aspirations that capture two loving people.

Analysis of the poem “Whisper. Timid breathing … makes it clear that the events in the work begin to occur long before dawn - this is a night date. The measuredly babbling stream is still sleepy, and everything around is flooded with silvery moonlight … But time flies, and gradually the quiet, calm, half-asleep world of nature around the lovers blooms with new colors. Before dawn, the morning, twilight light appears, which is still barely distinguishable from the shadow.

I must say that the author uses the word “shadows” twice for a reason: repetition enhances the feeling of mystery, indecision, mystery … And suddenly, from some moment, events develop quickly, rapidly:

night still reigns on the earth, but the “purple of the rose” is already blooming, and then, announcing the approach of the morning, “amber reflection” is spreading. Thanks to these metaphors, the reader can feel and see the rapidly approaching dawn - the last line, symbolizing the triumph of the morning and proclaiming the coming of dawn, bursts into a mysterious world.
