By a fateful coincidence, this program was watched by the deputy chairman of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. After watching it, she dropped that exactly such guys as the winners of this program should work for them at the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. Members of the youth edition heard the wishes of the deputy chairman and took them into account. Andrei received an offer of cooperation from them, and a year later, when the distribution of graduates took place at his university, he received it officially.

Having got to the Central Television of the USSR in the 80s, Andrey Knyshev began working on the program "Merry Fellows". Before him, the leader of the project was the legendary Alexander Maslyakov, and the program was conducted in the format of a certain impromptu competition.
